  1. BBD starts again tonight.
  2. We are (allegedly) about to go into a transfer embargo, the money is only going one place if we sell him.
  3. Don't worry he's in good hands here..........oh no wait, he's not, Mowbray is a dreadful manager.
  4. West Brom close to appointing the Barnsley manager after meeting the compensation clause in his contract.
  5. Scores on his debut! Great goal as well.
  6. BB makes his full Chilean debut! Forget the euros, this is the story of the summer.
  7. We also need money by the looks to stave off FFP. If we get £10m for Arma it won't all be reinvested in the squad. Free transfers and less than £500k signings is where we will be looking this summer, even with an Arma sale.
  8. Come on, even you know that money would not be reinvested into the squad.
  9. Don't think anyone is getting a points deduction to bail us out either (Derby??) Relegation battle is inevitable at the moment and if we can only sign free transfers or loans we will very likely be going down because having Mowbray as manager is starting us off with a severe handicap.
  10. Well that's just utterly depressing. We now have to flog AA for a knockdown price because we have left ourselves in a terrible bargaining position and now we are desperate for cash otherwise we are going to be embargoed. Just out of interest why are the EFL not giving any leeway to clubs as none of them have had matchday revenue for so long?
  11. Much easier to backtrack later, if he gives no names now. And also, he's probably making it up.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we are under an embargo and the club are just keeping quiet until they can't possibly hide it any longer.
  13. Solid international debut for BB to be fair.
  14. I'll be incredibly disappointed if he doesn't.
  15. Looks like he's playing through the middle as well
  16. 100% he's staying. No idea how he's held onto his job after last season but I suppose we do have the most clueless owners in football. Shouldn't be a surprise, really.
  17. Pretty sure he's been mentioned on here as someone who would be a good signing.
  18. "You've gotta learn how to play right back from Gally"
  19. Unfortunately, a lot of morons also got rich under these lot.
  20. Safe to say,we have another season of Gallagher on the wing, winless runs and horrific possession based garbage to look forward to next season. Can't wait 😐
  21. Jury is deffo still out on Dolan (and JRC too really). Problem with Dolan is, he burst onto the scene and was electric in those first couple of games. Steps overs, tricks, pace etc. Gave us something totally different. Problem is, I think he was quickly worked out by the defenders in the league after that. So his performances dropped. He went missing for a while but came back with less step overs but was a bit more productive. Next season, hopefully he continues to improve but at the moment, the jury is out for me.
  22. According to that, they only want to pay £10m. Gotta be a non starter at our end considering the amount we have to give Newcastle.
  23. Barnsley confident they are keeping him. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2021/june/dane-murphy-update/ Hes on holiday at the moment by the sounds of it, so I don't think he's signing for anyone at the moment. ON ALEX MOWATT “We are confident that we can get something done with Alex. “He’s currently on holiday but I believe when Alex gets back we’ll sit down with him and his representatives again and the club believes, I believe, Valérien believes that this is the best place for Alex Mowatt. “He’s our captain, our leader, he provides us goals and assists, he puts in the defensive shift. I don’t see a better place for him and I hope we can get something done there. “We know other clubs are interested, but we’ve been speaking to Alex about an extension for the better part of 18 to 20 months. He knows where we stand. We continue to put forward offers that should attract any player. “So hopefully, when he sits down and looks at his offers, sees the full scope, he’ll realise this is where he should be and we’ll see him lead out the team again next season.”
