  1. 4 point gap now. Barnsley, Leeds, Cardiff up next and you'd say we have to win all 3 to keep any aspirations alive. Needless to say, it's not happening
  2. Pretty clear that Gally continues to struggle with the role Mogga wants him to play. Even with a formation switch, it still doesnt help him. A proper winger, Chapman maybe, might very well flourish in a front 3 like this.
  3. Someone told me on twitter that AA had Covid-19, so is a bit behind on fitness.
  4. Aye it won't be easy which is why I put "winnable" (in ") but Wigan have been around the bottom of the table for most of the season. I'll be honest, didn't realise their form was that good.
  5. Really hoping we can win this, "winnable" games often seem to be our downfall. Gallagher ❌ Arma ✅
  6. I suspect the extensions to all those first teamers till the end of the season is a little bit of arse covering (Hart is an odd one but Bell and Williams are injured and Downing is better served elsewhere) but also a bit of TM's looking after his players mentality.
  7. Comfortably one of the worst decisions our owners have made.
  8. Safe and then possibly play off contenders next season!
  9. Cheers. The keeper situation is pretty worrying that we won't have any on the books in 8 games time. Also, with the way Venkys operate, we never seem to have our ducks in a row before hand.
  10. When does McLaughin's contract expire?
  11. What a stunning fall from grace. From.... 2 premier league titles, 4 golden glove awards, Englands number 1 To... Released by Burnley.
  12. It's a crazy situation where players contracts are up and they can just walk away with 8 games left. Madness.
  13. Hull are in some serious trouble. They had to beat Charlton, the game was massive for them. Into the bottom 3 now and I can't see them getting out of it now.
  14. Evan's on the scoresheet, that's a collector's item.
  15. Are rovers not doing live updates via twitter? Edit: First update 11mins in.
  16. I've not used follow that often but when I have (during a normal times) it's always had issues. Having 1000's more people connect was always going to be a huge problem for them. You would have thought, they would have anticipated this and worked out a solution before the season restarted.
  17. Hahaha, the frustrations return on game 1 (of the return) Not playing Arma is criminal. Not one single reason to play Brereton ahead him, or Gally for that matter (who knows who's upfront with the other wasted out wide) Shocking decision by Mowbray.
  18. Wow a match thread, its been a while. Back to pure Mowbray frustration I reckon. Not what I'd pick but what I think Mowbray will pick: ----------------------Walton Bennett---Tosin------Lenihan---Bell -----‐-----------Travis--Evans Gallagher-------Holtby--------Downing -----------------------Arma
  19. I notice that Dingle fans on Twitter are starting to pay the £25 but their cut outs are of Burnley players. On one hand, they are putting money into Rovers but on the other, pretty embarrassing to have a load of Dingle shirts in the crowd, or worse, in the dugout.
  20. Due to the Covid situation our transfer spending is surely set to be hardly anything (also adding in the previous big spend on BB and SG), so picking up a free transfer like this, feels like the way to go. And, as you say, more options in the wide areas can only be a good thing.
