Wouldn't sat that necessarily, I predict we will concede at least 1 goal. No matter what formation we put out or which players we pick, our defence will be incredibly poor. Mowbray has to get it right at the other end to ensure we can actually get a goal or 2. Interesting to see that huddersfield are working hard during the international break, where as our manager has given the players time off. As a fan, I know which one I'd rather my team were doing, certainly after a complete and utter no show last time out. Obviously, if it pays off then fair play but equally it's just more ammo against Mowbray if we get beat.

I honestly don't think neither the management team nor the players in our squad are good enough to pull off a formation/system like that. We'd need some serious possession stats throughout the game. The back 3 and midfield 3 would all need to be really good with the ball, with all of those centre backs being comfortable bring the ball forward out from the back. Not to mention we would need high fitness levels to make it a success. I'm not saying the formation isn't good, I'm saying Rovers aren't.

Yesterday's style was to meekly surrender to a bang average QPR team.

Let's be clear. QPR were not great. They simply scored through appalling defending. We never looked like scoring, at all. Despite scoring twice. Mowbray isn't taking thos5club forward. Time to sack.

He's not helping himself or the team by being farmed out wide. When we signed him, I thought he was basically going to be replacing Graham over the course of the season. We should be playing the likes of Rothwell and Chapman out wide and integrating them into the role and getting them to understand "how we play" not Gallagher. Seems like a fruitless exercise all round.

Off to this tomorrow, so hopefully we put in a performance at least. Going with 3 others, none of whom are Rovers (or QPR) fans, better not be a long journey back.
