A guy at work really wants a few of us to download this. Is it that frustrating?

6-0, that's a tubbing even for a friendly. Only a friendly but still pretty embarrassing. Suddenly I don't miss football that much anymore.

I bought the remastered FF8 a while back but only played it a bit. I picked it back up a few nights ago and last night completed disc 1. I think the story just about gets away with it at this point, although the dream sequences are still largely unexplained. I don't know what it is, or rather what I am doing wrong but all my characters suck apart from Squall. I don't know if it's the weapon they each have, although I upgraded Zell & Rinoa's weapons and it made little difference. I make a point of junctioning everyone with a GF so I can junction magic to HP, Strength and Magic to all 3 but Squall seems to hit 5/6 times more damage than the others. I'm also not a massive fan of the draw system, without the x3 speed I think I'd have gone crazy. No idea how I did it back on the original.

After 5 weeks of doing nothing but the odd walk for the first part of lockdown, I decided I needed to get back out and do something. It seems like, having 5 weeks of complete rest have done wonders for my knees, so I attempted running again. I haven't been a regular runner for a few years, I was cycling to work every day and playing football twice a week before all this. Anyway, after a difficult start a few weeks ago, I did a 5 mile run this morning. Pretty happy with that! Started off with 2.5 miles a few weeks back, so at least I have progressed.

20th June is the proposed return for Championship football in all its soulless glory.

Whether you like it or not SAF will be remembered (and currently is anyway) as the greatest premier league manager of all time. Of course he will have bullied people, its probably one of the things that brought him all his success. Let's not pretend the rest of the footballing world is whiter than white, that sort of s**t will have gone on at plenty of clubs by plenty of managers. I don't see why kids would find it cool, why would they? What's cool about it? It's confusing because we haven't had any rivalry with him or Utd for 25 years. You only think it's cool because you hate Utd (and him)

I didn't say I supported it, just that it's called FFP not FUP. Different ideas are absolutely needed, in pretty much every business in order to grow/survive. "Kicking Sir Alex Ferguson out" before our opening league one game (as you stated in another thread) is childish at best and despite gaining a few smiles from liverpool fans would gain nothing but condemnation from the footballing world, tarnishing Rovers (or any club) with a rep of being pathetic. So yeah, good ideas to attract new fans, absolutely. Driving existing fans away to try and gain some new ones, pointless.

That's why I said its difficult to tell ?‍♂️ You wouldn't have Travis at our club? He's one of our best players? Where are you getting all this money to sign players at there peak and then constantly replace them (with other players at their peak) as they start their decline? Staying within FFP limits also?

Travis is an academy player, difficult to tell if he would use the club as a stepping stone but if he is good enough to improve the first team, he needs to play whilst he is here.

Not missing the premier league but I am missing Rovers in the Championship. I haven't complained about a Mogga lineup in forever! Most importantly, I'm missing playing football.

Travis will be the one that leaves next for reasonable money.

Surprised Dack got the nod after his 4-0 drubbing last time out. Chapman was giving him grief over social media about it, I actually thought they were having a game against each other (maybe they did)
