  1. Venkys ain't spending Β£2.5m across the whole window, let alone on 1 player.
  2. I'm sure Mogga had Wallace lined up for us with the Rothwell money but obviously Venkys ended that. If it's correct, I'm guessing he rates Wallace so gotta assume he's staying put.
  3. Genuinely? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  4. Excellent result, especially considering how bad we were in that first half. Dolan, Hedges, Cantwell and Weimann totally ineffective in that first 45. Credit to JE, he made the changes and Gueye and ACD had a good impact. Cantwell came to life and even Weimann was on hand to make up for woeful first half with a goal. Can't get my head around the stick Callum Brittain has had on here, a superb right back and has probably been our best player this season. Delighted he got a (well taken) goal. Back up to 5th πŸ’ͺ
  5. Sure as night follows day, Rovers always balls up a golden opportunity when presented with one.
  6. Pompey hit the crossbar! Wake up FFS
  7. Weimann preferred over Leonard or Gueye? JE sending a message to the higher ups?
  8. This makes me feel better tbh
  9. πŸ˜‚ Howard RV with his finger on the pulse!
  10. Random twitter guy (who i think got something correct in the summer?) Reckons Richard Kone and Derek Kutesa are high on our list.
  11. Another non-scoring centre forward? Or is he actually decent?
  12. Straight up cash now? Not even a loan and then an agreed fee upon promotion?
  13. That can't be right because we've raked in Β£40m over the last 18months and we can't spend anything, due to FFP or whatever the latest excuse is.
  14. Yep, remember this when you're watching Sunderland win the play offs whilst we are 11th
  15. Sunderland have been reading @chaddyrovers posts. If Sunderland and Sheff Utd are fighting it out for him, we've never stood a chance (thanks Venky's, that's on you)
  16. I think we've invested a good amount of time into Dolan and he's still only 23 years old. I'd prefer it, if he got a new contract and we could continue to develop him and actually reap the rewards. That said, if he won't sign a new deal we should be looking to move him on. At this point in time, he's wholly replaceable. πŸ‘† the main reason for keeping him on a new contract, we won't reinvest any money for a replacement and anyone who does come in is more likely to be a downgrade than upgrade.
  17. Pretty sure his only decent spell in the team (under Mowbray for a few games at the end of one season), he was playing further forward.
  18. Not even close. Exactly why we should be avoiding him. Injury prone, past his best, poor finisher and wants high wages. There must be a much better use of our limited resources than Bamford.
  19. Ironically, wasn't one the players lined up Jed Wallace? As in, when he would have been a good signing, as opposed to now when he's on the decline.
  20. Might as well just adjourn it indefinitely. It's never going to end.
  21. No one starting Forshaw? I'm gonna because you're all so mean! ----------------------Pears Brittain----Batth----Hyam----Beck -----------Tronstad---Forshaw Dolan---------Cantwell--------Hedges --------------------Gueye
  22. Arsenal out and its all of their own making. Same reason they lost to Newcastle, playing without a proper striker and putting Kai Havertz central is horrific. He's laughably shit.
  23. If we're signing sticking plasters in the likes of Forshaw, Batth, Fadz, Weimann etc. It needs to surely be in conjunction with signing younger players who come in and there is less pressure to go straight in and perform. Grabbing the best young talent we can from league 1 or 2 seems like a no brainer to me.
