I can't see Pears going to Boro tbh. Moving back to the North East might appeal to him but he'll only be playing for a couple of months. As soon as Dieng is back fit he'll be relegated to No.2/3. Also would mean that we would need to find a replacement and our recent goalkeeping acquisitions have been poor at best. Not to mention the glacial pace we move at regarding transfers.

Very little chance we'd be selling Pears. I don't think he's a top end keeper but he's been our No.1 all season. If JE doesn't rate him, surely we'd have replaced him with better than Toth in the summer?

Overall it will do. They'll prove their worth over the remainder of the season. Tonight wasn't a good result for them but it happens in the championship. I'll be surprised if they don't go up automatically.
