  1. Roy Hodgson has stepped down from his role as Palace manager. Assume it's because of his health issues he's had recently but Palace really need to get their next appointment correct. Close to the drop and playing relegation rival Everton tonight.
  2. Only managed 4 wins in 12, 6 losses as well. He's not been that good for them and they clearly have loftier ambitions than plodding around midtable. Only 4 points off the top 6, a new manager might be able to make that final push. Wonder if it will be JDT??
  3. 6-8 weeks out. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Speedy recovery Mogga.
  4. Amari Bell goes back to his Rovers form and makes an absolute howler in thr first 30 seconds against Man Utd, gifting them a goal.
  5. Takes a lot of flak (rightly so) but credit to Brittain for the pass for Gallaghers goal. He's taken out their entire midfield and defence from half way in his own half. Good run and cheeky finish from Gallagher as well.
  6. On the face of it, a point on the road isn't too bad. Obviously being 2 up and not winning is disappointing.
  7. Not a single tweet from the Rovers twitter page single the 2nd half began. Guessing it's just that bad.
  8. The most predictable thing to happen now is that we will go on to lose this. It's absolutely typical of Rovers.
  9. So it seems. 2 up and we've fucked it up.
  10. How have we looked so far? Must be an improvement on Tuesday?
  11. Nope, not even made the bench. He must be guff.
  12. Fleck makes his debut. Interesting, as I'm sure someone said he wouldn't be ready till the international break? Dolan the only "young" player in there. Plenty of experience and the average age must be up significantly on recent times.
  13. Although unlikely, he needs to pull a win out today. The Birmingham result/performance drained anything remotely positive from the Stoke victory. Needs to get us going, we desperately need points on the board. Huddersfield have appointed a new gaffer and the write up I read about him, he seemed a decent appointment.
  14. Sounds like he's done you a favour!
  15. Anyone got a Steam Deck? Considering one.
  16. Was just about to write the same thing. Definitely into the poor bracket. After his initial impact he's done absolutely naff all for a while now.
  17. I'm not disagreeing with the predictions of a defeat but Jesus wept, look at what these cretins have done to us. Rovers fans predicting 4-1 and 5-1 defeats against Preston. VenkysOut
  18. Nar, my memory is abysmal. There is a good chance I've remembered incorrectly. It was more than 5 minutes ago, so chances are I don't remember it correctly at all.
  19. Sounds like a good way to end up in prison. Any potential claims against the club through injury (or worse) due to negligence of maintenance would outweigh any grant given by the council, you would think. Doesn't surprise me with the clowns we've had in senior positions in the psst tbh.
  20. I'm probably remembering it wrong but I thought GB said that the club/SW had a shortlist of managers or maybe even interviewed some of them and then he came in, saw the list (rubbished it basically) and put JDT's name forward. I'm sure he said or heavily implied that he was the man to bring JDT to the club in one of his interviews.
  21. Literally impossible to predict. Jury is obviously out on Eustace and he's only been here 5 minutes but we have to put in an improved performance from yesterday. Not just from the players but the manager needs to sort out these tactics as we can't just continously lump it forward to no one (or Gallagher to lose the aerial battle) Can stick with a back 3 if he wants to, bring Fleck in (if fit) move JRC to RWB. Options are limited because recruitment is abysmal.
