Biggest concern here is, he's only managed 61 games in the last 13 years. Barely more than 1 full championship season. The bulk (half (ish) 29) coming from managing England U21's since 2021. He's had some unreal players to select for England U21's and life will be incredibly different for him in a relentless Championship campaign. Not massively keen, I think he'll tank spectacularly.

Gerrard is a tricky one. Record breaking season at Rangers, a whole season without a loss. Went to Villa and results were nothing to write home about, sacked after a 12 game winless run. Then did the worst thing possible and followed the money and went to Saudi, a footballing graveyard. Again didn't tear up any trees but difficult to judge because it's the Saudi league. As a player, I always liked him, so perhaps there's just a soft spot there but maybe, just maybe he'd find his feet in the Championship. He's 300 games in as a manager but his next move is a big one, as it will either make or break him. We're an absolute clusterfuck of a club, so probably not the one he'll find any success at.

There are various levels of blame apportioned to each person/group involved in this complete clusterfuck but ultimately, as always, all roads lead back to Pune. They are the biggest rats that need removing, once they go, the rest follow and we can get our club back.

I'd bet my house on it being either Lowe or Edwards, wouldn't be happy with either. Edwards has recent success that the club points to make it look it look like a decent appointment. But overall it's because they're both cheap, looking for work and be less likely to rock the boat.
