v Fulham (a) - 5/3/22

We'll miss him tomorrow. I hope ZF doesn't replace him as he's nowhere near as a good a defender and we need to be rock solid at the back to get anything out of this match. Provided the other centre backs are fit I'd play Lenihan in his position -

Yes, I was at Craven Cottage that day and Matt Jansen scored a cracker for us IIRC. Saw Ronnie Clayton as we were leaving the ground. -

Nyambe will be a big miss for us, ZF just doesn't have the same defensive ability to stop crosses coming in from the left to feed Mitrovic. I'd play Lenihan in his position instead I fancy us to catch Fulham on the break and this is a winnable game if we can keep it tight at the back. Optimism isn't natural when it comes to Rovers though. -
Just about the only team Albion haven’t lost to in the recent past is Rovers. That game was 2 points lost for us and another reason why we’ll struggle to make the top 6

Finally, a win and a goal. Well deserved but scoring goals really is a problem and will continue to cost us

Chair looks a top of the table player
-
How many would Armstrong (or Brereton) have scored today?
-
Hedges looks tripe
-
And another chance goes begging
-
Still a fluke because he'd never do it again
-
Khadra fluke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
We're worse this half. This is a 0-0 unless something extraordinary happens
-
We're on the back foot here, getting nowhere, no momentum
-
Khadra had to beat the last defender there Dolan, give over
-
Yet another corner not getting beyond the first defender
-
Off on a stretcher ....sodding Johnson caused this
-
..... all he had to do was play it into space and now it looks like a serious injury
-
Johnson's rubbish pass caused that Nyambe injury
-
Marshall's a top keeper
-
Gallagher's always never quite in the right place.....
-
8 and a half hours without a goal ..... it's getting silly now
-
Dolan has been very good but I want to see him in the box scoring goals Lots of chances both ends but this could end 0-0 unless QPR nick one late on
-
All teams need a water carrier....he's ours
-
Just shows you can't expect players to "step up" when they're not natural goalscorers Khadra's was inexcusable though; Johnson's just laughable
-
Leave off .... he's one of the first on the team sheet
