  1. And you try ringing and asking for IT staff.... never answer the phone and you're lucky if they ever ring back We're 1-0 up apparently, would love to have seen it
  2. How to piddle off fans in one easy lesson. Waggott is on the case; he'll report back some time next year
  3. ifollow worked perfectly for me every time but I've had constant problems with Rovers TV Management issue.... it's not good enough and it needs sorting
  4. I reckon the early signers-on were OK but the later ones can't sign on because the site can't take the volume Either way, it's cheap and not fit for purpose
  5. Perhaps they should forget about signing new players and spend money on some decent IT and support staff
  6. Getting the same.... and the link to the technical support doesn't work either It's not the first time. Hopeless
  7. Rovers live TV playing up as usual - can't log in
  8. Rovers were poor against Wigan, even without the Pears drops. We need to snap out of that mindset and get back to the form of the previous weeks. If we turn up in the same frame of mind today we'll get beaten, and we need to take the chances when they come. When we're on top we need to score. Hoping for a win but not confident at all. Going for 2-2
  9. Wooden nailed-in studs or metal? I got my first football injury aged 11 from a lad wearing his dad's boots. A nail from one of the studs was sticking out and gave me a nasty gash down the leg. "An old-fashioned injury" the schoolteacher said.
  10. Like the Irish lad, Markanday is the hope of jam tomorrow. Neither of them are going to help us get promoted. I'm very disappointed we haven't put a marker down yet to show we're seriously going for promotion.
  11. If ever there was a time and a season for the owners to put their hands in their pockets, this is it. We're in the best position since relegation 10 years ago and a couple of astute signings could make all the difference to vital points gained and lost. Assuming the targets have been identified and costed, there is no excuse for not going out and getting them None
  12. Yep, just like Rovers did. That was a bad result for Rovers tonight. Reading will now go on a 6-match winning run
  13. Big test for Rovers, who need to show that they can bounce back and show the silly FA Cup defeat at Wigan was an aberration and hasn't affected confidence. So many players were off the pace in that game and it's important the mindset is right. I'll be optimistic Cardiff 2 Rovers 2
  14. Got yourself an absolute gem. Future England player Wish he was still at Rovers
  15. The obvious solution. Maybe less than 60 seconds. Players standing around and fans not knowing what's going on for that length of time is ridiculous.
  16. Harwood-Bellis is one of the best young players I've seen. Thought he oozed class and ability Stoke - really?
  17. Pears could have been given a minus 4 and it would still have been too high. I’ve seen goalkeepers make howlers but those 3 and the 2nd in particular were inexcusable. I’ve never seen a professional keeper virtually throw the ball in the net like that. He has some ability but obviously a poor temperament. We need a better No 2
  18. This is the worst England team in my lifetime with some of the worst batsmen I’ve seen at a technical level from any Test country. We went through some bad times in the 1990s but at least we had the likes of Hick and Ramprakash who could at least hold a bat straight. The likes of Hameed, Burns, Sibley and Crawley have such idiosyncratic styles that it’s no surprise they have failed at Test level and their selection is an indictment of the poor quality of bowlers in county cricket. Crawley has proved nothing with his 77 in the second innings. His has probably had poorest technique of them all, plays with his bat away from his body and plays far too many loose shots and will never be the answer as an opener In Melbourne it was typical of England to show a bit of backbone when the series had already been lost. Where was the fight in the first 3 Tests? The English game needs a complete overhaul. ideally I’d like to see the whole regime including Giles cleared out and coaches and brought in from abroad at every level.
  19. Some ex-pat drunk in a bar in Torrresmolinos - does that count as a link?
  20. Unexpected and It shows how low England have sunk when a draw is considered a good result.
  21. Feel sorry for Dyche, excellent manager who's done a fine job at Burnley and who I'd welcome at Ewood if he gets fed up at the Turf.
  22. Not surprising. We've always had a thuggish element.
  23. A tough manager would tell Pears to find a new club. He's let his team-mates, the club and the fans down. There's no excuse for a pro to make basic errors like that Will Mowbray do it? Unlikely. He's so perverse he'll probably pick him for the next match
