  1. And there's the thing. 4,000 fans made the trip to see that rubbish. I do feel sorry for them. I'd be fuming
  2. A semi-pro keeper wouldn't make a mistake like that, and neither would most amateurs It was unforgiveable. I've never seen anything like it Give him his P45
  3. The FA Cup really matters to the older generation, and I hate this "concentrate on the league stuff". A cup run and good league form go hand in hand, and I wouldn't be surprised if we go into a Tony death spiral from here
  4. A proper manager would never pick Pears for the first team again He's just the latest clown in a succession of third rate 2nd choice keepers
  5. What a load of horse manure Excuse for a pathetic performance that is likely to spill over into league form
  6. Yes we do. It'll teach them that winning football matches cannot be taken for granted and is hard work
  7. Gee whiz, that Pears video. Never seen that, not even in a Sunday morning league Sack him and send him down the job centre.
  8. 2 competitions .... not numerous And it's the FA Cup FFS. It matters Don't understand how "getting beat" is good in any context
  9. Pears aside, it doesn't say alot for the other players if they haven't pulled their tripe out today because it "only the cup" Typical Mowbray though. He couldn't care less about the FA Cup
  10. Seriously teed off...this is back to the bad old days of silly mistakes and losing games we should be winning
  11. Focus on the league....someone had to say it No, because a good cup run is just as important to morale as the league
  12. We should not be losing this. It's ridiculous. 1st priority in the January window.... a new reserve goalkeeper
  13. I'll be annoyed if we lose this We've been poor in the cup for years and a good run would give us such a boost and help the current feelgood factor Pears has always got a mistake like that in him unfortunately
  14. Is that Buckley at right back - surely not?
  15. Too right there isn't. Money is the motivating factor and nothing else matters. Lenihan, Nyambe etc are no different.
  16. A bit unfair to say he should have an "offensive" role when he seems by all accounts to be a decent lad on and off the pitch Or do you mean "attacking"?
  17. Ashley's Newcastle legacy and why they were glad to see the back of him after 14 years of turmoil https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-mike-ashley-legacy-toxic-21816047 Good luck Derby. You'll need it.
  18. Poor old Derby County fans ....Mike Ashley says he wants to buy the club
  19. Looks a good player in the Dutch league but the fact he didn't get much playing time at Hertha raises questions. He loves going forward and certainly gets stuck in ..... card waving Championship officials will be kept busy
  20. The fans will struggle singing his name......any offers in how you pronounce it? He's a right back... does that mean Nyambe's going?
  21. 36-4. Another dreadful start and likely innings defeat saved only by a century from Bairstow.
  22. Held back to January 31 as our marquee (and only) signing of the window?
  23. Eriksen was quoted in the papers today as saying he "came back from the dead" when he collapsed Rather like Rovers if we somehow got promoted this season after a decade in the wilderness Good shout though, and I think Rovers would get alot of kudos nationally if it happened I won't though
