I like the way at he’s brought on youth, the positive mentality he brings when interviewed (especially compared with the last guy), the players like him and in periods when we have clicked scored some terrific goals. Also took as on some good cup runs last season which had been lacking for a long time. -

Sigh…Our home form is across the whole season, we have the 2nd worst defence in the entire league…is this ‘form’ Try seeing things from another point of view instead of blindly arguing a side. -

I’ve yet to see you say a bad word about him for a start. -

The majority of people complaining are well aware of the shambolic running of the club and budget/injury situation. But putting that aside surely the JdT fan boys can see why he is getting justified grief from fans at this point? That wasn’t far off our best first 11 yesterday and was a total shambles losing to relegation favourites. The home form is abysmal and has seen us lose 7 already. If the away form now starts to drop we are in massive trouble. The Huddersfield manager said we ‘play high risk high reward football’ after the game. It’s an incredibly naive approach in the championship and we are rightly getting licked now managers have worked it out. He needs a plan B and to improve his game management. Surely we can agree on that? -

Hyam and Carter/wharton are as good as most centre halfs in the league. Pickering and Britain/Hill decent fullbacks. Tronstad and Wharton in the centre probably two of the best in the league. There is no excuse for those 6 being part of the second worst defence in the league other than how they are being asked to play. I could understand us lacking goals but no excuses at the back. -
We are going down (the pessimism thread)

I think we are already in a relegation fight, if not for a Smodizc hot streak we would already be down there. No hope of money in January either due to tax dodging owners and the squad can only get weaker should we sell. Worst home record since Steve Kean and the 2nd worst defence in the league. All points to a lowest finish since we came back up -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

He needs to take a look at himself rather than just pointing the fingers at others. -

I said the same after the Bristol game, that was the lowest actual attendance I’d seen on ewood at a league game for a long time. A few on here robustly defended it had anything to do with our atrocious home form or their saviour JdT though. I really don’t want to go to the Rotherham game and wouldn’t if I wasn’t a season ticket holder. -

If it wasn’t for Smodizc hot streak we would already be down the bottom. We create nothing and just tap it around expecting someone to score i would hate to be Ennis or Telalovic in this team. -

Hope that’s Moran out the team for an extended period now, ridiculous to keep starting him when he has been so poor for so long -

This is close to our strongest team which is a worry. We are sleep walking into a relegation fight, no money to spend on players and a manager more interested in his reputation for passing football than getting results. -

Every Huddersfield attack makes us look totally stretched even though we are offering no attacking threat. Can see us taking a hammering here -

Felt he was average at best in his time with us. Responsible for us conceding a number of goals, couldn’t tackle and no goals/assists at the other end. Tronstad and Wharton are massive upgrades on him -

Markanday for a start. If someone consistently plays shit you give someone else a chance. -

How does Moran get another start?!? He’s the new Tyler Morton -

Can’t see anything but a loss after recent results. Expecting a shit house team to out muscle us and exploit how tired and weak the squad is at the moment. The one definite change to be made is Moran to disappear for a while. He has been awful for weeks now and seems to be an automatic selection (echos of Morton last season). Dont think you can drop S Wharton as he has been a rock since he came back. Leave Carter at right back and Pickering hopefully back at left. -

Yep. Or ask the existing team to sit in and stop committing forward as much. It’s basic football management. -

Been saying the same thing for a few weeks with the usual suspects refusing to accept any criticism of the guy. he’s an ok manager who now has lost more games at home by Xmas then Owen Coyle did the season we went down. He has gotta learn but seems more interested in the vanity project of purist football than getting points on the board. All it would have taken for 3 points yesterday was to go defensive and close out the game for the last ten minutes but instead we kept going for more, leaving gaping holes for the additional attackers Watford threw on. -
Even Owen Coyle only managed to lose 5 home games by Xmas
