  1. The number of the Beast is Tom.
  2. Suspect that when we reach 666 pages, something will happen.
  3. I do think this supports my point that the owners have no problems firing people, when they're interested.
  4. I hope so Rev, but leopards and spots.
  5. By your count, three, by mine, seven. Either way.....
  6. "However I am led to believe that looking forward to next season and beyond there are genuine grounds for optimism and that certain changes have already been made behind the scenes which potentially could also be very positive." Come on you tease, what is it Rev?
  7. How many managers did they sack in one season?
  8. Have you banned, or was a voluntary absence?
  9. ...but.... they said we had a list to chose from.
  10. As mentioned - when Sam G gets injured, what's the back-up plan?
  11. I can only conclude that TM was given very tight budgets, considering the fees played for wha seem like decent players yesterday.
  12. TM's quotes about passing on the players he wanted to bring in to the management team around waggot suggests as much.
  13. Not that has scored anything like the 20 goals we need from a forward player.
  14. I wonder what the Venkys' financial framework was for the window.
  15. A striker with a pulse would have done the job.
  16. I'm not a religious person - just the opposite - but I guess this is what purgatory feels like.
  17. They failed against their own public, criteria. No excuses.
  18. By any measure - and let's use the club's for once - the failure to replace AA with a proven goal-scorer must be seen as a massive failure. it is not unreasonable to ask serious questions about Waggot and his ability to deliver the players that Tm identified. With 30 goals to cover we have brought in players with little-or-no experience in this league and everything to prove. We may okay, and the defence does look better - until Ayala gets injured at least - but in midfield and upfront what has this window achieved? In midfield we are very low on players who both stay fit and who are able to impose themselves on the opposition. Hopefully the new recruits can add to the dearth of technically-able players. Upfront, who can see the AA goals being replace? Ends.
  19. More a case of hands up who isn't worried.
  20. Could be worse, could be Matty Holmes.
