How did that ball bounce 10 yards out in our box and Pears was on his goal line and leaving Hyam to run back and boot it over his own head. He has zero good attributes of a goalkeeper.
-
These subs are 10 mins too late (55 mins too late really)
-
It’s a disgrace all round. Pears and Hedges should not have come out for this 2nd half. desperate for a manager with a backbone and some leadership
-
Also exactly this
-
Exactly this
-
Yeah he did. But before that it was a bouncing ball that he didn’t deal with, went over him, he turns and then is held/pulled - too slow to deal with it - and just gave up and stopped on the foul
-
Don’t worry, Rudy and Steve will be meeting a few in London Pret Mangier I’m sure next week. Operation finish 7th is in full swing for the masters
-
Horrendous by Sanderson. Foul or not it should have never reached that situation. He looks like he’s playing a few seconds behind real time continuously. Stinking club, only group that would leave their better players on the bench. What the hell did we get Dennis for, 5 matches or something
-
Says something about us (ownership, recruitment etc) that they’re still trotted out in the first 11
-
Can Pears use his feet for anything other than standing on? How is he still our #1 Hedges, Weimann, Foreshaw, we’ve got this one completely wrong.
-
What the bollocks was that free kick.
-
Needs to be Kargbo and Dennis and not Hedges and Weimann - absolutely zero quality or ‘in the box‘ instinct there
-
Hedges and Weimann 🙈 Good to see Ohashi back on the bench. Hopefully see Dennis today, and Kargbo a bit earlier
-
Looks like he’s emulating his performance with us last season. What was it, 6 points in his first 10 games, 0 wins in his first 10 games, before the Leeds and Leicester miracles (albeit Leicester were on the beach). That same form will relegate Derby though, as they weren’t 16th when he took over like we were
-
Aye, I’m keen on Margot Robbie. Edit: predictably beaten by about 5 people on this on
-
Would have preferred a draw, but City winning next best I think. Boro a few matches from being completely out of it
-
Ironically, the longer we go without appointing someone might be a good thing - we all know Waggott is going to cock this up
-
2 draws tonight would be ideal. Not sure how long Carrick will have left at Boro if they lose.
-
Just when you think those running the show couldn't sink any lower. It almost makes me want to believe the 'they want to avoid promotion' conspiracies. Horrible list of names, what on earth do Waggott and Gestede actually do day to day apart from count their wage.
-
If they were correct. We're on 1.54 ppg not 1.45. Therefore, the 1.46 ppg we need to reach 70 points is actually a drop in our average. We're the only team from 5th downwards that needs LESS ppg than we've averaged so far to reach 70. We just need to be average to finish in the Top 6 - it's just so often at this stage of the season we're not even that.
-
I’d rather give him a shot after winning the league, knowing he is a vocal manager about shite going on around him, than the likes of Karanka, Ismael etc. His next job will be the Championship, whether it’s us or someone else. Outside of Cooper nobody fills me with much hope. I’d take a punt on someone up and coming like Duff / Carsley after that rather than some of the other dross

It’s got an unprecedented Rovers death spiral written all over it. 😬

Do people actually 'apply' for the role of manager of a football club. Is someone at the club receiving CVs from the Bradford manager. I'd have thought it would just be Manager tells agent he'd be interested, agent contacts club, club decide if they want to speak to them (and also vice versa with club contacting managers' agent). Seems strange, and somewhat unrealistic that people would be 'applying' for the job in this industry, and for over 100 to do so.

For Norwich to reach 70 they'd need: win 7, draw 5, lose 1 (70 points) win 8, draw 2, lose 3 (70 points) win 9, lose 4 (71 points) All doable like you say, but it's difficult, and that's just the minimum they'd need. It would also require two teams to do it to knock Rovers out now. All we need to do now is be ordinary and we have a real good chance. (though we said the same twice before recently)

2 from Rovers, WBA, Coventry and the winner of Bristol City v Boro on Friday I think. Bristol City have the toughest run in, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford have a negative GD so it's hard to imagine either team suddenly averaging 1.92 (they'd need more due to their GD too). Norwich downwards, although they need 2 ppg to reach 70, they're only 4 points off WBA. 7 behind ourselves is a nice cushion. Interesting that every contender would have to better their current PPG to reach 70 points except for ourselves, who could perform worse and still make it.
