Without sounding like a massive aftertimer (it will though)…I’ve never really bought into the Hyam hype that he gets from Rovers fans. Weak as piss, not vocal, doesn’t seem like a leader (could be wrong), absolutely horrendous at dealing with anything slung into the box or if it gets scrappy in the box. Having said all that, we didn’t particularly look any better at the back when he was out, and it can’t be easy with whatever you want to call the person in the nets (he’s certainly not a goalkeeper) behind you. Playing for safety now and I guess the hope of an FA Cup run if we continue to get lower league opponents.

Summing up that we have no leaders on our pitch…. Jake Garrett, a young academy lad, eager no doubt, but not someone I’d describe as creative, decides he’s going to take a free kick from 30 odd yards out and have a go at goal. How is this allowed. it’s such low percentage, poor decision making, no leaders or authority in our shirts

The frustrating thing is we need a complete overhaul on the park but Venkys won’t give us a pot to piss in, and when they throw us a fiver we have Broughton picking out a keeper with biscuit fingers, a crock of a striker who couldnt control a bag of cement and a German non-leaguer who looks lost. We’re only going in one direction, and it’s bleak. Venkys, Waggot, spineless players, -8 GD. There isn’t much to like at this club right now.
