I saw today Bournemouth posted 2023/24 revenue of £170m - yes Bournemouth with their 11k capacity stadium, a club who have spent 80 of their 94 year history at levels 3 or 4 in the pyramid. We could be something completely different had we a different outcome back in 2012

They sold 2,500 in the first 24 hours - our lot would deem that a success by the end of summer. £259 an adult in their main home stand in Phase 1 (vs £399 in BBE for us) It’s double the price here for 1 adult + 2 children Look at the difference in fan engagement here vs what we’ve sent out today

Phase 1 comparison to last year 1 adult, 14 year old and 8 year old in the Blackburn End would cost 23% more than last year (£527 vs £428) (Other examples of families / groups buying result in the same theft from the club)

Mental - so we’re talking £429 for a Blackburn End ticket in that scenario. Let say you can make 18 of the 23 games you’re talking £24 a match! Long gone are the days of a ST being value for me and I’d be scratching my head at why anyone would buy one and not just pick individual matches. (and this is only phase 1!)
