Imagine it's just so if we sell 1k they're not sprawled across the whole stand. If we sell 1.5k they will open the rest of it. I've no issues with that.
-
That did make me laugh - christ if we're only dishing out cans up there surely we can do better than Fosters & Strongbow (answer is that they'll have the biggest mark-up)
-
Great news and fair fucks to Eustace and the team as this wouldn't be happening without recent performances. Upper tier is around 3k from memory so about 1.5k on sale now, could see us selling them - would be great to get as many of them sold as possible and fill the rest of the upper with flags / banners - will feel properly like a full Ewood, which is long overdue. Also shows again what is possible if we ever rid ourselves of Venkys and co. and had good value STs (cough Bolton cough)

Tony Mowbray had Harvey Elliott at Rovers and Amad Diallo at Sunderland (neither got promoted) Not quite Lampard levels with Mount, Tomori and Wilson but still

Think 7 is harsh on Gueye. Won every single ball that went his way, and had a great touch throughout. Superb for the opening goal as well. The only fault I can give him is his ‘assist’. I used to dream that Gallagher would ever put in that type of performance Far better match than Ohashi - who hasn’t looked up to much in a long while IMO. -

We’ve already won Masterchef this week thanks to Dan the man, based in Langho. Now let’s wrap up a fantastic week for the town with another league win. -

Back in the UK and will be attending so apologies in advance for ending our 5 match win streak -
Saw something suggesting maybe the ‘thickos’ comment was aimed at the board / owners. Would seem strange for a club legend whose been there so long as player and manager to suddenly call fans ‘thickos’. They seem to be punching above their weight this season anyway so seems strange

Interested in general opinion - what do people think we’d sell for a Playoff Semi-Final at say £30 a ticket considering it’s not inclusive of ST (Waggot wouldn’t sell cheaper than that). I remember being in the crowd for the League Cup semi vs Villa and being less than 20k (albeit mid-week night match).

It wasn’t exactly cinema stuff but another 1-0 win so we’ll take it. IMO there is at least 1 playoff spot up for grabs (can’t see past the current top 5) and there’s no reason why Rovers can’t be in the mix for it (well 1 reason is Venkys and a shambles January window) -
Surprising it's only Cat B. A rare smart move from the powers that be. Would expect it to surpass the 22k at Leeds.
-
United away - it's been too long since we've been there!
-
Thanks both, yeah I assumed we'd maybe take up extra if needed but our lot in charge aren't renowned for their decision making. With it being our only away fixture between 10th Dec and 1st Jan (and Saturday 3pm) I'd be surprised if we don't sell that initial allocation - especially if we continue in good form. I'm already lining up the pub crawl to The Den.
-
Does a 1k allocation for Millwall away feel on the light side? It's Rovers' 'Christmas Away Fixture' this year, and we have a decent London following. I was hoping to fly over for this one so fingers crossed it gets to open sale, I expected us to take up a bigger allocation.

Hull with 0 wins in their last 10 league matches. In true Rovers fashion there is only one outcome here unfortunately. (see Coventry 3-0 earlier this season) Joking aside, in years gone by it feels like a fixture we'd lose after winning two unexpectedly and optimism starting to rise. Hopefully Eustace can buck the trend and continue this mini-run! -

We never get penalties (first at home for 2 years?) so no wonder nobody had a clue who was taking it. Great to see Travis step in and sort it out. No doubting it was a perfect penalty too (always more pressure after that happens); low, inside netting, plenty of pace. I’d say we know our taking going forward -

Pickering and Beck together on the left feels the best option IMO. -

After Boro I thought a win versus Leeds and the team will really start to believe they’re in it this year. Just seems to be something different within the camp this season, I’m starting to get optimistic which doesn’t bode well!!! -
Surely that’s just someone at the club getting it completely wrong (shock). Perhaps looking at the points needed for the 1st step of the sale or something (have we ever done that for home games before). I’ll likely be back in Lancashire for this one post-Christmas but certainly don’t have that level of points from last season. If true, the club will have really out-done them selves again.

From memory we don’t win many mid-week away games. I’m sure those shocking stats have appeared on here at times. Eustace seems to have a knack of winning matches we don’t expect and long may it continue! -
Not an excuse for a professional. Too many congested matches and it’s complaints about being tired, injuries etc. Then too long a gap between matches and it’s complaints about match fitness. These are paid professionals - no excuse not to be match ready with a 2.5 week gap.

Great interview from Trav too. Said out loud that we belong in the top 6 - always good to hear they’re thinking that rather than the Waggots ‘just stay up’ mentality -

It does add to the frustration that we couldn’t put it in the net vs Watford and Stoke where we were comfortably the better side. We’ve created some great openings today though and it’s a joy to watch (albeit Cardiff are likely shite)
