  1. Frustrating that with 1 minute to go in the half we have a free kick in an area we can stick it in for our 3 cbs but we play it short and back to our own half. Coventry doing what we should have here. Thankfully shocking output from them
  2. Just our luck he’s injured. Hopefully Harry isn’t out for too long.
  3. Quality has been really low with Dolan and Markanday out wide (unsurprisingly). Wharton having a good game in my opinion, Moran also bright and seems very good at nicking the ball of the opponent. Brittain again very good
  4. The line up is giving me the Burnley away vibes where we moved players around with Mola coming in and Hedges at full back.
  5. We desperately desperately need 3 centre midfielders. How can this not be seen. Teams are walking through us in the middle.
  6. He was saying it as a sarcastic joke mate, lighten up. 3 points incoming and our march up the table begins.
  7. Not a clue on the formation here. Is it wing backs with 3 defenders? Who is centre mid? Dolan starting must mean some unfit lads on the bench.
  8. Tough game tonight, mid-week away from home after a run of losses in a close space of time and a big injury list. We're rightly decent underdogs, but a win would be massive ahead of a very winnable trip to QPR to get the season rolling. Nothing to fear with Coventry, if we're playing as open as we have we just have to pray someone sticks a few in the net in the 1st half!
  9. 3k allocation at £26. Expect us to sell this out but anyone who wants one will be able to get one I’d imagine
  10. Wahlstedt Brittain Hill Hyam Pickering JRC Wharton Travis Moran Szmodics Sigurdsson
  11. (assuming you’re on about the first goal and stating the header hit the inside netting - but people aren’t blaming Pears for his shot stopping on the goal) I’ve never seen a keeper as week at dominating his 6 yard box. He does not come and claim anything, even the absolute bread and butter. How many more examples of this do some fans need? Huddersfield, Coventry, today, probably more direct crosses I’m missing Birmingham and Luton he could have dealt with on original cross too, Millwall and Ipswich not dealing with a ball over the top, Hull City where he was positioned somewhere near the M65. All this on top of the fact he put the ball out for a corner that was a yard over the bar, because again, his position was all completely wrong. He should not be playing Championship football, and if our management team are adamant he should, then we should have spent our £800k sofa change on a striker, loan or permanent, and not a keeper to sit behind him
  12. It’s looking bad at the back but I don’t fully buy the ‘suicidal approach’ messages. These games where we’re shipping loads are often killed off in the last 10 mins when we’re chasing (like we have to) with a 1 goal deficit. I know a lot don’t buy into xG but Leicesters was a modest 1.97 and that includes 0.7 or so for the penalty. - Pears mistake (again - and that is on JDT no denying it, should have been dropped for Kaminski after the flapping at Huddersfield) - Vardy beauty after a pin point pass - Penalty - Game over already as there are no leaders on the pitch (Hyam a particular joke in this area, he wouldn’t say boo to a goose) Can’t emphasis enough how pissed off I am with how Pears starts week after week regardless of what has happened. Conceding after 3 mins to these meant it was always an uphill battle. We won’t go down, but we need to start getting some positive results soon for sure. Embarrassing how much our heads drop after conceding, we give up at 2-1, same as Sunderland, then opposition go on to make it look like an embarrassing scoreline Pressure is mounting now but perhaps I’m less annoyed by what’s happening on the pitch because of how pathetic we are off the pitch. Cut off the snakes head and go from there.
  13. £10m on Jack Clarke too. Can’t compare the two. I said the German 4th tier was the level of Spennymoor and some tried to claim it was a Bundesliga signing (lol). Venkys killing us one cut at a time.
  14. Need to go back to 433 - overrun in midfield and positionally all over the show in the back 4. Moran - Szmodics - Sigurdsson front 3
  15. Still very early to talk about the table etc. see Boro last season and Forest the season before. We’re absolutely fine and we’ll go on to batter plenty of teams. This lot are the best in the league, £30m full back, £100k a week striker etc We clearly need to change the goalkeeper but Vardy rocketing that 2nd in shows the difference in the two teams.
  16. Hyam offside on that free-kick. Criminal. How thick are these players
  17. I’m making that 10 goals now he’s cost us. It’s on you JDT. Should have been dropped last season after Huddersfield. Pears isn’t good enough for our bench.
  18. Crazy to think Ricardo is playing in this league. Should be a really open match - I worry for our full backs, particularly Pickering (and obviously Pears)
  19. With Leonard out for a few weeks I think I'd rather go with 4-3-3 and a front 3 of Szmodics, Siggy and Moran and bulk up this midfield with either Garret/Tronsted/JRC alongside Travis and Wharton. So so so frustrating that we've got to sit and watch another 90 of Pears.
  20. It's just a free hit for them to do something the fans can get behind though. How much would we be paying for coaches? Can't be more than £10k. 500 x £40 ticket would get the club £20k, not sure if they make money or not on that. Just stick them on for free, shout about, market it, maybe then JDT won't have to come out and give you a dig post-match Swag.
  21. Free coaches is a good shout for this one. It's something I have no doubt Rovers of old would have gone for. Assuming we get 50% of ticket sales like FA Cup(?) then it'll be a decent enough payday to allow us to put on 40 (total guess) or so free coaches. It has potential to be a cracking evening for us, a lot of our 16-25 generation won't have seen us play Chelsea since school days, so to them it'll be even bigger, and no doubt they'd be a decent proportion of coach buyers.
  22. AFC Wimbledon were charged £26 and then Brighton £32. Hopefully we’re in the lower range, but they are trying to claw back their £1billion spent.
