  1. I’m now convinced you just having nothing between your ears. Maybe you are Steve after all?
  2. No you weren’t - you just threw out a completely vague message that you complain to those around you about the fact people choose not to come, and additionally stated none of you complain about or mention the price. Pricing is the underlying reason we’ve sold 8k and not the 12k+ that our very similar demographical rivals get - if you feel the need to get together and complain about your fellow fan base you should at least point it in the correct direction.
  3. Yes, and there are lots of reasons people CHOOSE not to go, of which I find it pathetic that people like yourself sit there complaining about. What are these CHOICES that you don't like, as affordability can still be a choice whether you put it in inverted commas, capitals or even underline it? Is it the fact we've the 5th most expensive ticket in the division? Mortgage rates at their highest since relegation? Food banks getting record usage? UK gap between rich and poor increasing every year? Maybe some now have a family? Maybe an illness? Maybe they decided they had other priorities over the pandemic? Whatever it is, it's lovely to hear you and your chums can sit their on the opening day and have a little moan about your fellow fans (whilst you openly admitted not discussing the price structure) Nothing like kicking our own fan base whilst nodding along to the muppets in charge.
  4. That’s very sad. Sat huddled together complaining about people who have lots of valid reasons to not attend in todays climate. Pathetic. No idea who this is even in reply too - lots of people commented on PNE’s free tickets since your first weird post (that must have been some gotcha lightbulb moment in your brain a month after starting your stance). Anyway, all the replies said it’s a great idea. It would cost Rovers the equivalent of a weeks wage (fortnight if popular) from Dack and Ayala (or paying someone 10k a week instead of 11k) - seems very astute in my opinion. Besides, how many of PNEs tickets do you think went for free? From latest accounts we had very similar income as clubs.
  5. It does often feel the case - but this year there seems to be a bit more agreement (albeit just from scanning socials). e.g. the first twitter post for ST had almost all negative responses to prices, whereas previously it felt people would be more 'get behind the club ffs'. Also the recent image with ST prices for the league and Rovers being 5th (I think) alongside the likes of Leeds has maybe opened a few extra eyes.
  6. Do it again for League 1 Bolton please...Just saying.. EDIT: Just to add - it's a bloody good policy. How many of our 8k do you think are U12? Lets say 1k which feels very very generous....that's a total income of £60k. It's borderline pointless.....might as well give them away for free. Give me more bums on seats, tickets for future fans, more club kits sold than our current shambolic policy Doogs/Steve.
  7. Ha yeah I saw that 1997 too from this incredibly slick “who we are” page on their brand new website. As sportswashy as it gets
  8. I see Newcastle have agreed a new sponsor - who didn’t even have a website until 2 weeks ago. Just the £25m a year for a company plucked out of a thin air. Good to see FFP having another normal one.
  9. This made me have a look back - bloody Zebra Claims (now dissolved). Honestly the commercial operation at Ewood couldn’t scream incompetence any more if it tried yet they’re all compensated incredibly well.
  10. Laughable commercial operation down there. In answer to the newly created thread around one thing you’d change it would be getting rid of clowns like Waggott and the school kid in charge of marketing and getting some people who are competent and live and breath the club in running the show. Wouldn’t be hard to find for £300k a year
  11. There is a happy man, sat somewhere enjoying a pint on the beach, with a big smile on his face. Mr Steven Waggott I can count at least 5 potential A++ games he’d go for!
  12. Or that one of them drew Benfica and the other drew another Italian team in the QF (whilst City, Madrid, Bayern and Chelsea were all drawn in the other half).
  13. We allegedly picked their pocket for Hyam. But they’ve just got to Wembley with 2 clean sheets against Boro. Maybe it’s the Coventry scouts and recruitment team we should be after
  14. Rumours online appear to be Charlton. Would make sense geographically given it’s where he’s from and where he started his youth career
  15. We’ve been starved of any club legends since Venkys turned up in town, and instead we’ve painfully been given the Orrs, Murphys and Bests of the world. Dacky has been the highlight player of the last 10 years. A great signing, and for our younger fans undoubtedly a legend. He dragged us out of League One (Peterborough home game stands out as we were 1-0 and about to bottle the automatics until he scored 2 and assisted 1), then he pushed us on in the Championship. 50 goals in 158 games and some great days watching him play off Graham. A bit of footballing class at a time we were starved of it for so long. All the best Dacky
  16. If we were run properly that would be under £10m a year. Every year we have about a 10%-20% chance of promotion to the premier league - not a bad risk / loss to take as a Billionaire at a shot at being a self-sufficient PL club (with facilities already in place for it so no expenditure needed there)
  17. The camera has panned to the stand for both subs and the fans looked a little perplexed. He must have reverted to type. The delivery from Doughty and Clark for Luton has been superb all game. What we were allegedly getting with Thomas (although we’d have nobody on the other end regardless in our team of midgets)
  18. Lads and lasses on the Sunderland forum are ranking him as their 2nd best ever manager after Peter Reid (or at least in most of their lifetime) in one thread 3/4 of a season and a 6th place championship finish.
  19. Talk of Rovers or Millwall ‘bottling it’ - Sheffield Wednesday were something like 6 clear with a game in hand at the top of the table with about 9 games to go. Missed automatics and then lost 4-0 to Peterborough in the 1st leg. For Rovers, a league with Plymouth and Peterborough should be a good thing (apart from the long away days). If the relegated Prem clubs are basket cases (here’s hoping), then we should have a proper run at the Top 6.
  20. Crown paints still in the market….They’re close enough. We could get ‘Euro Garages’ 😂
  21. You also thought Lampard was a good manager, Hirst will come good if given more time and that Morton should start ahead of Wharton as he doesn’t train hard enough. You’re wrong on this one too for what it’s worth
  22. Got his fingers crossed for 8k Leeds and Everton! (Sheff Wed dead in the water now - so he prob wants Bolton there)
  23. Surely Boro would be the best result for our interest next year I.E. the best team and best run club out of the division
