  1. So looking like 24,500 or so currently sold. Great stuff - need to get the rest of the upper tier open now - only back 3 rows left in those blocks
  2. Yeah looks like only a bit or none of N08 went on sale at the start, as I thought - 1.5k wouldn’t be enough if 3.5 blocks were opened. Anyway, the other half of it is open now Weirdly the end block has gone off sale now. That would have made sense from the start - leave the two small corner blocks off sale until the end if needed
  3. Oh wow I didn't realise that - I assumed either half or none of it and that 7 was the popular block. Great news. This might give Waggot ideas to close the Riverside long term and re-open the BBE Upper 😂
  4. Was half of N08 open for sale too? And now sold out? i.e exactly half the BBE Upper
  5. 2 main blocks will be gone before Christmas and the club should look at getting the next one on sale IMO. Clearly people would rather sit there than behind a pillar or in the pissing rain of the Riverside (cans of Fosters aside). With ~4.5k gone to 'segregation' / offering Burnley a limited amount, the most we can hope for is 27k. My guess is we'll have around 1k empty in the Upper and 1k empty in the Riverside giving us a 25k attendance (21k of which are home fans). Warms the cockles after the last 10 years.
  6. 25k+ in 2010 and 2011 too - when Williams ran the “take back Ewood” campaign at £199(?) STs
  7. Imagine it's just so if we sell 1k they're not sprawled across the whole stand. If we sell 1.5k they will open the rest of it. I've no issues with that.
  8. That did make me laugh - christ if we're only dishing out cans up there surely we can do better than Fosters & Strongbow (answer is that they'll have the biggest mark-up)
  9. Great news and fair fucks to Eustace and the team as this wouldn't be happening without recent performances. Upper tier is around 3k from memory so about 1.5k on sale now, could see us selling them - would be great to get as many of them sold as possible and fill the rest of the upper with flags / banners - will feel properly like a full Ewood, which is long overdue. Also shows again what is possible if we ever rid ourselves of Venkys and co. and had good value STs (cough Bolton cough)
  10. Tony Mowbray had Harvey Elliott at Rovers and Amad Diallo at Sunderland (neither got promoted) Not quite Lampard levels with Mount, Tomori and Wilson but still
  11. Think 7 is harsh on Gueye. Won every single ball that went his way, and had a great touch throughout. Superb for the opening goal as well. The only fault I can give him is his ‘assist’. I used to dream that Gallagher would ever put in that type of performance Far better match than Ohashi - who hasn’t looked up to much in a long while IMO.
  12. We’ve already won Masterchef this week thanks to Dan the man, based in Langho. Now let’s wrap up a fantastic week for the town with another league win.
  13. Back in the UK and will be attending so apologies in advance for ending our 5 match win streak
  14. Saw something suggesting maybe the ‘thickos’ comment was aimed at the board / owners. Would seem strange for a club legend whose been there so long as player and manager to suddenly call fans ‘thickos’. They seem to be punching above their weight this season anyway so seems strange
  15. Interested in general opinion - what do people think we’d sell for a Playoff Semi-Final at say £30 a ticket considering it’s not inclusive of ST (Waggot wouldn’t sell cheaper than that). I remember being in the crowd for the League Cup semi vs Villa and being less than 20k (albeit mid-week night match).
  16. It wasn’t exactly cinema stuff but another 1-0 win so we’ll take it. IMO there is at least 1 playoff spot up for grabs (can’t see past the current top 5) and there’s no reason why Rovers can’t be in the mix for it (well 1 reason is Venkys and a shambles January window)
  17. Surprising it's only Cat B. A rare smart move from the powers that be. Would expect it to surpass the 22k at Leeds.
  18. United away - it's been too long since we've been there!
  19. Thanks both, yeah I assumed we'd maybe take up extra if needed but our lot in charge aren't renowned for their decision making. With it being our only away fixture between 10th Dec and 1st Jan (and Saturday 3pm) I'd be surprised if we don't sell that initial allocation - especially if we continue in good form. I'm already lining up the pub crawl to The Den.
  20. Does a 1k allocation for Millwall away feel on the light side? It's Rovers' 'Christmas Away Fixture' this year, and we have a decent London following. I was hoping to fly over for this one so fingers crossed it gets to open sale, I expected us to take up a bigger allocation.
  21. Hull with 0 wins in their last 10 league matches. In true Rovers fashion there is only one outcome here unfortunately. (see Coventry 3-0 earlier this season) Joking aside, in years gone by it feels like a fixture we'd lose after winning two unexpectedly and optimism starting to rise. Hopefully Eustace can buck the trend and continue this mini-run!
  22. We never get penalties (first at home for 2 years?) so no wonder nobody had a clue who was taking it. Great to see Travis step in and sort it out. No doubting it was a perfect penalty too (always more pressure after that happens); low, inside netting, plenty of pace. I’d say we know our taking going forward
  23. Pickering and Beck together on the left feels the best option IMO.
  24. After Boro I thought a win versus Leeds and the team will really start to believe they’re in it this year. Just seems to be something different within the camp this season, I’m starting to get optimistic which doesn’t bode well!!!
  25. Surely that’s just someone at the club getting it completely wrong (shock). Perhaps looking at the points needed for the 1st step of the sale or something (have we ever done that for home games before). I’ll likely be back in Lancashire for this one post-Christmas but certainly don’t have that level of points from last season. If true, the club will have really out-done them selves again.
