  1. Doubt they’re arsed. Leeds or Southampton, not much difference
  2. For what it’s worth. Updated odds are 8/1 currently for relegation Leicester 1.83 to win, Plymouth 1.83 to win, Birmingham 2.6 to win and Wednesday 1.04 not to lose 1.83 x 1.83 x 2.6 x 1.03 = 8/1 ie gone from a 4% chance pre match to 11% chance right now.
  3. The worry for me is that Hull and Norwich results affect each other. Hull losing means Norwich don’t need to try which means more chance for Brum. We basically need to hope Leicester come out the same as that for the 2nd half and we cling onto 0-0
  4. We’ll have record season ticket sales in league 1 at least with everyone’s 18/1 relegation winnings!
  5. We just need to do the business ourselves, and hope that Leicester continue to not really care. Either that or hope Plymouth fail to stick it in the net!
  6. Not sure if it’s the same bloke, but they used to always have funky designs
  7. Sam Gallagher is just not a centre forward, or even a footballer. Forget about the weak finish there, but the Chrisene cross just sums the lad up to a tee, has zero anticipation or goal scorer positioning.
  8. Now 27/1 for relegation based on 100% odds after all the team news and pro-money coming in. 1.58 x 2.6 x 4.1 x inverse of 2.46 We have no excuses anyway with Norwich and Sunderland going strong
  9. New TV deal meaning we'll be on Sky Sports every other week or thereabouts.....good for commercial advertising? Nah, we'll just stick with the local solicitors for a few hundred grand thanks. Sincerely, Swag.
  10. He’s played less than 200 minutes across half a season. Doesn’t even make their squad half the time. He might come in handy in league 1 mind you. We can do better in the Championship though (see Trondstad)
  11. I know it's a 46 game season and you could argue the 5-1 victory vs Sunderland as much as this...but...if we had only lost to Bristol City by 1 goal rather than 5-0, then Birmingham would have needed a 5 goal swing against us this weekend. We could lose to Leicester by 2 and Birmingham would have to win by 3 vs Norwich. That match really does hang like a black cloud now!
  12. Yes it looks like odds on Leicester have drifted after sealing the title last night. Amazingly they're 1.71-1.72 to win on the Exchange, which equates to 8/11 in old money - i.e only 58% chance of beating us! It's a very tricky thing to price up though given 'motivation' etc. If this was earlier in the season it would have been considerably shorter, e.g. Leeds were 1/3 to beat us a few weeks ago (75% chance), which is probably what we would have seen Saturday too. Personally, I think 8/11 is a bet, they're still going for 100 points and we know how soft our lot are. There is no chance someone like Vardy will be taking it easy just because the title is already wrapped up.
  13. It's not bookies getting it wrong necessarily, statistically 18/1 (~23/1 without bookmaker margin) still has a 4%-5% chance of happening. It isn't 'that' unlikely. Leicester was a freak result, Diaz was priced incorrectly and was wrong. Swags season ticket sales could be at a record high in League 1 if everyone has £20 on it 😄 (might have to be £25 with his pricing structure!)
  14. Probability of each individual permutation below. 4.4% chance of relegation. You’re saying it’s 1/20 for Leicester to beat us (95% chance) when they’re actually about 8/13 (62% chance) But you are correct that the likelihood of relegation (4.4%) is higher than the 2 in 81 if all results were equally likely.
  15. No because those 81 permutations all have a different % chance of occuring and are not equal (as shown in the image). e.g. the chance of all 4 teams winning is different to the chance of all 4 teams drawing
  16. Added in the team who gets relegated each time to see the difference between Birmingham and Plymouth in particular. 2 of 81 permutations relegates Rovers 3 of 81 permutations relegates Wednesday 20 of 81 permutations relegates Plymouth 56 of 81 permutations relegates Birmingham
  17. Somebody mentioned on another thread that there are 81 permutations of results between ourselves, Sheff Wed, Plymouth and Birmingham this weekend and only 2 of them will relegate us (LWWW, LDWW). Monday morning procrastination led me to offer the visualisation. 4.4% chance of happening, around 23/1 100% price. Nothing would be more Rovers than to drag this onto the final game of the season, and end up with the largest relegation points total since.....Rovers last time. I'm holding hope onto Hull really.
  18. Struggling to see why they have a Seniors and U23s section on there (obviously the core of the offer is good)
  19. We had a very short period where we had a manager who would question the status quo. Publicly call out false promises and try to hold those responsible to account. Those on the gravy train (almost everyone high up at Rovers), are obviously delighted with the current predicament of yes man with no talent, skill, CV, evidence of success, evidence of decent football, evidence of wanting to know our town, region or club churning away shit performances along as it keeps all those guys out the limelight. Of course Waggott prefers this than JDT mocking his lies about our leased coach/bus. Of course the shadow man prefers this to JDT saying budgets have been cut and he was fed lies etc. Just all topping up their pensions with no shits given to Rovers. When we beat Leeds Eustsces celebrations were straight to the box behind him (lots of managers do that in fairness). But, If anyone cared for the club they’d be to fans / players / staff not to your boss.
  20. If (IF) we do fail against Coventry, then we’ll be cheering on Hull vs Ipswich at 8pm for various reasons: - Likely means Leicester have the league wrapped up before our match and they may rotate / not try as hard - Hull still competing with Norwich for 6th meaning they’ll be going for a result vs Plymouth and also Norwich have to get a result vs Birmingham. - Added bonus that Ipswich will still likely pip Leeds even if they do lose to Hull
  21. Sort of feels like they’ve gone the opposite way to us in terms of manager too Ainsworth into Cifuentes vs JDT into Eustace
