  1. First train from Blackburn is 08:09 - 11:38 with 3 changes so with the walk on the other side you’ll just make the whistle whilst enjoying nothing but the train journey. First proper train without ridiculous hassle is 09:04 - 11:54 with just 1 change. Laughable really isn’t it 12pm. At least move them all back one hour and start it at 1pm.
  2. It’s a shame that I really want Leeds or West Ham or Everton to get relegated as Steve Cooper is really starting to piss me off with his holier-than-thou act
  3. Pears Brittain Carter Hyam Pickering JRC Travis Thomas Szmodics Dolan Gallagher/Diaz* *whoever is fittest, if neither then Hedges and rotating front 4
  4. The highlight of their history is a few old funny Neil Warnock videos and a cricket match Given the transfer cheating which the EFL are destined to do nothing about I'd love them to drop out of the top 2. Not much is ever said about them being ruled by Saudis unlike Newcastle.
  5. 8 games in April now. Lets hope it doesn't become our new February.
  6. Also means only a section of the Darwen End they can smash up. Would mean no Rovers below for obvious reasons.
  7. 3 days after our FA Cup Semi-Final victory, more fitting for us to get a guard of honour
  8. For what it's worth, opening odds suggest chance of progression stands at 70% Sheffield United and 30% Rovers. Feels about right given the home draw.
  9. That was the semi-final last year with an allocation of 35k (30k for the final and more expensive £45, £70, £115, £145 for the 4 categories) Not bad having 44% of tickets (~16k) at £45 or less
  10. Yeah good shout, that would be the same as last season too. That Arsenal game isn't televised either, so more flex for FA cup viewing figures. Sunday games were 12:30, 15:00 and 18:00 last year. Unless they add in a Saturday evening match this year at 19:45
  11. We know there won't be a Friday or Monday game as all QFs have a team playing on Wed or Thu then the week after is Int Break. United play Thursday night away in Betis, so they'll 100% be Sunday, which means City v Dingles will be Saturday. Toss up where ourselves and Brighton v Grimsby fall I guess, though I'd imagine even if it is Sunday they'll want United to be the last game (usually BBC), with the draw after it, rather than an all-Championship affair. So i'll go with a Saturday match for us, so long as the police are happy with Burnley and Rovers fans playing on Saturday (albeit both away from home), either that or an early Sunday KO (nice Mothers Day present)
  12. Has that 6k been announced? I thought it was 15% of capacity so 4.8k. I’d imagine we’ll be Sunday. United play Thursday night so will be Sunday meaning City will have to be Saturday. Which would also keep ourselves and Burnley separate. Edit: looks like it’s based on Spurs match who got 15% originally then additional 1.2k or so afterwards.
  13. 2 x BBC and 2 x ITV I think
  14. So who do we want out of City, United or Brighton at Wembley?
  15. A bit shit in reality. But, it’s still very winnable albeit not glamorous. Saturday will be a nice warm up!
  16. My preference Grimsby home or away Sheffield United at home Then would take anyone but City at home Avoid - Brighton away and City home or away Can imagine we get Brighton away while a Manchester club gets Grimsby and Burnley get Sheffield United at home
  17. It did surprise me I can only remember 1 rendition of "JDTs blue and white army" last night. That would have been on loop for managers in the past.
  18. £299 just seems a no brainer really. £1m difference between that and £399 we have recently charged, and that's without any potential increases in sales and other knock on benefits. We've literally made that already on cup runs this season that we haven't had previously. If anything, put the bonus cup money to ST prices for a trial year. Who knows, we sell 5k more than the year before then maybe there is something to it. We sell the same amount as LY then Waggott can say 'told you so'
  19. I've not seen any highlights of the offside goal actually. How close was it if those watching live saw a replay?
  20. Only 1 mid-week match there (2 if Burnley gets moved to mid-week though that wouldn't be discounted anyway you wouldn't think). So 3 x £25 (Norwich, Hull, Luton) 1 x £20 (Coventry) and 1 x £30 (Burnley) so saving of £26 in total. Could attend 4 out of 5 and still get better value than paying for all 5 individually. Essentially throwing in 1 game for free. I don't hate it, and surprising good timing to release the offer/details with fans on a high so I'd compliment that. They should sell a few too. Would still like to see some form of £10 adult £5 senior, £1 kid style offer for Norwich or Luton.
  21. Cup runs alone so far have probably netted us over £1m vs usual TM season.......chuck that bonus pot towards a new pitch (or £100 cheaper season tickets). Getting one more round is an additional £950k (£450k QF winner and £500k SF loser) minimum in prize money alone too.
  22. For what it's worth, last years QFs were played on: Saturday 17:15 Sunday 12:30 15:00 18:00 and in 2021 Saturday 12:15 17:30 Sunday 13:30 17:00 So hopefully we're not going to get too messed around with a Friday night match or similar. Would love a 5pm Saturday slot!
  23. Ball number 2 tonight....i'll take the worst team left in at home please, if we're cursed and get a tough away day then i'll take Spurs. Great new stadium, big allocation, day session, and they can still look like an incredibly average team at times. Would absolutely hate Burnley in either the next round or semi/final...couldn't take it.
  24. Bristol City I think, someone posted a photo of it when we played them. £15 for members or something.
  25. I’ll add a real review now I’m a beer in on the M6…. Can’t really fault anyone. I thought Morton was potentially the weakest link but Trav was phenomenal next to him. The crowd were singing for Buckley so everyone started to see it. When Hedges missed the sitter I thought that was it and we’ll rue the missed the chances (I assume it was as bad on tv angle as it was where we were stood) I honestly can’t pick stand outs but I’ll go with Dolan and Szmodics. Hats off to JDT he set us up perfectly and it was one of the first times I started to see this ‘high press’. Would have liked to hear a few more JDTs blue and white army based on that Best thing….I had a decent lump on Rovers at 10/1ish on Betfair Exchange….tried getting online to hedge at 1-0 and again at 2-0 but no signal in the ground! Saved me wasting any money and keep the full winnings! It’ll pay for my flights back over on Paddys weekend for the next round! Edit: no idea why that photo went in upside down
