Premier League 22-23

In Prem watch… Jason Steele starting for Brighton today - also Joe Rothwell assist (I think it was just a corner) -

Whatever everyone’s opinion is, and the back and forth between now and Mowbray….we did go on a big undefeated run winning 4-0, 5-1 etc. battering teams. Perhaps the accurate sentence would be “We would never have played like we have recently under Mowbray, in the back end of the season” But anyway, let’s just enjoy what we’re witnessing. 3rd in the league, FA Cup QF, unbeaten in 11! -

Trav looking more like the box to box midfielder we saw in the opening few weeks. Starting to create stuff around the edge of the box. Can’t fault much at all today. Sit back and see how the rest get on now (likewise we can do that next week after a Friday night match) -

I think that is fair. And he had weeks with Travis or Buckley playing right back, Phillips playing CB and academy lads in CM. (I’ll admit I was critical in that mid-season lull) More settled team and wide wingers, and we’re looking like a proper 11 -

I was a doubter - I didn’t think we’d hold on to the top 6 given our performances. But I don’t think we would have with those performances, the difference being we’re playing much much much better. Thomas has certainly made a difference, width, pace, determination and direct going forward. Also worth noting we were relying on the likes of Ash Phillips, Jake Garrett, Midfielders at right back etc for over a month. We have a style now, much more settled team, full of energy, full of confidence. Hats off to the manager for building this. We’ve looked entertaining to watch for a few months now after some drab performances pre-Xmas. -

ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ OOOOOOO We’re a team that have bollocks now. Not sure if it’s JDT, if it’s someone like Hyam, if it’s someone tenacious like Thomas I don’t know but hats off to the lot of them. JDT’s Blue n White Army! -

Ah well, the red card against these chumps didn’t help last year. Let’s do it the hard way -

Noticed this a few weeks ago. Sort of nothing throw up the line. Like U8s stuff. Never have someone short to throw feet and back considering we’re a team who likes to pass it around. -

Few nice passes from Buckley when he’s had space, but otherwise it feels like he is a passenger in a game like this when it gets scrappy, they cut through the middle quite easily and he can look slow and lethargic. I’d look at either moving JRC there and bringing on Brittain, or bringing on Garrett for him and get stuck in a bit more. -

They’re a very good team as we already knew. Berge probably the best player in the league. -

Pretty happy with that team. 3 points here and we can pretty much draw our way to a playoff spot. Let’s get it done Rovers! -
Oh yeah it would be a brilliant trio - but can’t help feel only 1 spot is up for grabs with Bournemouth and Southampton

First train from Blackburn is 08:09 - 11:38 with 3 changes so with the walk on the other side you’ll just make the whistle whilst enjoying nothing but the train journey. First proper train without ridiculous hassle is 09:04 - 11:54 with just 1 change. Laughable really isn’t it 12pm. At least move them all back one hour and start it at 1pm.

It’s a shame that I really want Leeds or West Ham or Everton to get relegated as Steve Cooper is really starting to piss me off with his holier-than-thou act

The highlight of their history is a few old funny Neil Warnock videos and a cricket match Given the transfer cheating which the EFL are destined to do nothing about I'd love them to drop out of the top 2. Not much is ever said about them being ruled by Saudis unlike Newcastle. -
8 games in April now. Lets hope it doesn't become our new February.

Also means only a section of the Darwen End they can smash up. Would mean no Rovers below for obvious reasons.

3 days after our FA Cup Semi-Final victory, more fitting for us to get a guard of honour
