  1. He did away at West Ham though 💪🏆
  2. 71 will do it for us. 3 wins from our final 6 - hopefully starting tomorrow
  3. A lot of difference of opinions in line ups in this thread. I’m not sure what I even think the strongest line up is myself. I’d like Brittain back in but I wouldn’t shift JRC considering he’s playing like Cafu (perhaps something to do in game if we’re chasing). Would I play Brereton, as despite how poor he’s looked he’s still our top scorer last two years. Dolan or Thomas - one gives us a lot of off the ball pressure, the other adds more power and pace with the ball I think I’d start Kaminski over Pears but maybe keep the rest of the team the same (hard to judge if Morton’s best game was due to 3 in midfield or Hudds not wanting the ball). Huddersfield forums were very complimentary over us, and I agree that it was the best I’ve seen us play in the league for many many weeks. JRC, Szmodics, Wharton, Travis are must starts, the rest can be picked around them and I wouldn’t have many complaints (defence will likely stay the same)
  4. 4 points from 5 games since this thread was started! I predicted 71 points and portable radios at The Den and I still think it will come down to that. Can't see PNE getting more than 9 points from 5 games (71), or Coventry/Sunderland getting 12 points from 5 games (71). Norwich and Millwall the big threats, with the easiest run-ins out of all. Think it's between the two of them and ourselves for 5th and 6th. Either way, I can't see us going to Millwall on the final day with nothing to play for, which is exciting.
  5. Yes, similar to Blackpool away (against a similarly shite team). Have to say Morton’s best game for a while. Amazed it was only 5 added on then blown bang on 5 too. Don’t think we should be starting Diaz anymore - I’d have JRC and Thomas on the wings next week. JRC easy MOTM - created everything for us. Also - thought Szmodics was very good again!
  6. JRC should 100% be starting striker next week
  7. You’re not scoring that more than 50% of the time. Does well on the turn, instinct for where the goal is and it’s a decent save. Was a good effort
  8. At least there’s an extra 4 games in this league 🤔
  9. Hedges on for Diaz, Leonard on for Morton and Wharton on for Carter
  10. Feels like we’ve played well here. Much better than Friday. But let’s be honest, the first goal just sums up this team…weak.
  11. Are we actually expected to believe that another player has said to a random fan in the street (or in the box or getting a hair cut) that one of his team mates plays video games until 2am, left training in a huff because of a tackle and personally threatened our DOF 😂😂😂 all whilst said player is a life long fan, is a teenager and has barely played for the first team. This place. Never change.
  12. I like that. Would love to see that 11 start on Monday. Brereton was poor again today, but we don’t really have any other options up there
  13. The 2nd goal JRC was up in an attacking position so I’d ignore that one, but I fully agree with the point, it really worries me. Both are so slow and regularly skinned or turned. Pacey wingers should be rubbing their hands together against us. JRC has been very good going forward but I’m just not convinced he is a right back, I’d like to see him further forward with Brittain getting a run of games again (he’s looked shakey off the bench on occasion but just needs to get back up to speed)
  14. I was told this was ‘Mowbray form’…..now through 4 game we’re currently 1 point worse off than predicted!
  15. Carter has probably been our best player the last 10 games. Way ahead of Scott Wharton. Bizarre one to point out.
  16. I’d take anyone now. I’d take Dolan running around like a headless chicken, I’d give Leonard a few games without ever seeing him play, I’d maybe even give the old Blackburn end drummer a go.
  17. It is a shame Gally is so useless as he’s one of the only players who has a catchy and original song we can sing to.
  18. Who would have thought it eh! Time to change it up and have a think about the rest of the season JDT
  19. Unfortunately I think you’re right. I’d have Wharton on for Morton and Thomas or Dolan for Hedges (although Brereton has been worse, he is at least capable of something out the blue)
  20. Brereton has given the ball away every single time he’s touched it. He looks absolutely hopeless. Thomas, Wharton, Brittain - just anyone who can create something please.
  21. 2 great results in the early games, if we can win this and Swansea beat Coventry I’d say it’s done and dusted! Enjoy the match @BigBar - you’ve picked a cracking day for your lads first one
  22. A ‘bumper’ Rovers crowd usually equals a sub-par performance. Let’s hope on the pitch it’s not like Wigan and Bournemouth over the last few years. I like the comment someone made about it being a playoff quarter final. Win and I think we’re in, but I wouldn’t be disappointed with a draw.
  23. 100% - only the bottom 7 and Preston have scored less. We’re so so bad at creating anything (not directed at today but the season), it’s worse when it comes to Shots, Shots on Target and the dreaded xG, so it suggests our 43 goals in 38 games is actually an overachievement (so no blaming Gallagher and co. if we’re actually converting better than expected) JDT has earnt all our patience, respect etc etc. but I am frustrated that we’ve come out of an international break after a pathetic let down from our (on loan) CM and he has still stuck by him, whilst our most creative midfielder by a distance (who we actual own and should be developing) isn’t even making the squad. Really disappointed by that and hoping it hits home eventually
