  1. You’re not scoring that more than 50% of the time. Does well on the turn, instinct for where the goal is and it’s a decent save. Was a good effort
  2. At least there’s an extra 4 games in this league 🤔
  3. Hedges on for Diaz, Leonard on for Morton and Wharton on for Carter
  4. Feels like we’ve played well here. Much better than Friday. But let’s be honest, the first goal just sums up this team…weak.
  5. Are we actually expected to believe that another player has said to a random fan in the street (or in the box or getting a hair cut) that one of his team mates plays video games until 2am, left training in a huff because of a tackle and personally threatened our DOF 😂😂😂 all whilst said player is a life long fan, is a teenager and has barely played for the first team. This place. Never change.
  6. I like that. Would love to see that 11 start on Monday. Brereton was poor again today, but we don’t really have any other options up there
  7. The 2nd goal JRC was up in an attacking position so I’d ignore that one, but I fully agree with the point, it really worries me. Both are so slow and regularly skinned or turned. Pacey wingers should be rubbing their hands together against us. JRC has been very good going forward but I’m just not convinced he is a right back, I’d like to see him further forward with Brittain getting a run of games again (he’s looked shakey off the bench on occasion but just needs to get back up to speed)
  8. I was told this was ‘Mowbray form’…..now through 4 game we’re currently 1 point worse off than predicted!
  9. Carter has probably been our best player the last 10 games. Way ahead of Scott Wharton. Bizarre one to point out.
  10. I’d take anyone now. I’d take Dolan running around like a headless chicken, I’d give Leonard a few games without ever seeing him play, I’d maybe even give the old Blackburn end drummer a go.
  11. It is a shame Gally is so useless as he’s one of the only players who has a catchy and original song we can sing to.
  12. Who would have thought it eh! Time to change it up and have a think about the rest of the season JDT
  13. Unfortunately I think you’re right. I’d have Wharton on for Morton and Thomas or Dolan for Hedges (although Brereton has been worse, he is at least capable of something out the blue)
  14. Brereton has given the ball away every single time he’s touched it. He looks absolutely hopeless. Thomas, Wharton, Brittain - just anyone who can create something please.
  15. 2 great results in the early games, if we can win this and Swansea beat Coventry I’d say it’s done and dusted! Enjoy the match @BigBar - you’ve picked a cracking day for your lads first one
  16. A ‘bumper’ Rovers crowd usually equals a sub-par performance. Let’s hope on the pitch it’s not like Wigan and Bournemouth over the last few years. I like the comment someone made about it being a playoff quarter final. Win and I think we’re in, but I wouldn’t be disappointed with a draw.
  17. 100% - only the bottom 7 and Preston have scored less. We’re so so bad at creating anything (not directed at today but the season), it’s worse when it comes to Shots, Shots on Target and the dreaded xG, so it suggests our 43 goals in 38 games is actually an overachievement (so no blaming Gallagher and co. if we’re actually converting better than expected) JDT has earnt all our patience, respect etc etc. but I am frustrated that we’ve come out of an international break after a pathetic let down from our (on loan) CM and he has still stuck by him, whilst our most creative midfielder by a distance (who we actual own and should be developing) isn’t even making the squad. Really disappointed by that and hoping it hits home eventually
  18. Just the reality of the championship too, highlighted by all the other teams failing to win too (bar Luton). We were underdogs for this match today but if you asked all our fans the majority would say otherwise. Just the way it is playing away from home in the Championship. Disappointing given the opportunity that it turned out to be, yes, but Yeovil 7 or so years ago it was not.
  19. Good luck with that liquidity mate. Wouldn’t be anywhere near 1.8 and someone is obviously trying to tease someone in with £100. Lay to lose at Sky Bet far higher than the £80 winnings available there at under odds
  20. A very good day for Luton Town it seems
  21. Insert into any match thread. Most creative midfielder doesn’t even make the squad
  22. Yep - easy sell out there, great pricing from Hudds for Easter Weekend. Should be a cracking day for those who go!
  23. Agree there is a different feel to this lot than 5-10 years ago, just a lot more likeable. I can get behind Bellingham, Kane, Saka, Foden, Rashford so much more than the likes of Terry, Rio, Lampard, Rooney. They were just so hard to like. Disagree about the Portugal post earlier, I think we’re superior to them in ever position except perhaps CB.
  24. Ha, my bad, but the point still stands. There was no ‘onslaught’. Italy were useless and we never felt any sort of pressure at all. England were poor 2nd half, but Italy did nothing to take advantage of it (I could have claimed my extra man comment was in reference of the referee 😁 )
