  1. Too right Chaddy. Great day. 3 points at Blackpool and getting into the FA cup quarters to look forward to this month still too!
  2. His distribution has impressed me too. Keeps his place unless anything drastically changes for me. Edit: JohnD beat me to it above!
  3. Yeah agree completely with the sentiment of the 2nd half. I just don’t believe it was a tactical double bluff to play like that in the first half. (Also agree about Martin) Either way, 3 points, puts us in a great position for Blackpool! We can all get behind that.
  4. Listen I’m delighted with how we performed 2nd half, thought we were really good. But that’s total nonsense.
  5. Interesting tactic, play shit for a half to lure a team into thinking you’re shit?
  6. Yep - really bizarre argument. If it was right not to start him then he’s still done a hamstring so was hardly right bringing him on.
  7. COYB! Absolutely buzzing, great result and given Norwich and Sunderland drew and Luton lost it could be a big week going into Blackpool. On the match, I thought we were dreadful 1st half, as bad as it could be. Credit to JDT though 2nd half I thought we were really really good. We pressed better, we competed more, we got the ball into wide areas and all the 45 was played in their half. Pears excellent again, Carter brilliant (all defenders were to be fair). Thomas gives us bundles of energy. Just all of them were so much better 2nd half. We play like that half all the time then we certainly have a chance of playoffs.
  8. Yeah I agree, we had some chances at West Brom early on, Brereton specifically. But absolutely nothing here. The key difference, we’re at home to a team that concedes a lot of goals here compared to away at a good West Brom side.
  9. Almost being the key word. Broughton and co. watch this team every week and came out of January without a CM or a ST. Just not good enough.
  10. What? Not really sure the reference here but if it’s some weird comparison then they’ve had 7 shots and 2 on target vs 2 and 0 for ourselves. And people think Dyche is anti-football!
  11. Travis and Buckley well off the pace.
  12. Are you taking the piss? 😂
  13. The tombola is dead, long live the tombola
  14. How is being disappointed at being subbed the wrong attitude? It’s the kind of attitude I’d want, someone desperate to be out there. Not Dacks fault the away end booed
  15. Not sure about that team at all. Gallagher starting! Potentially Thomas as a wing back seems odd. Dack dropping to the bench. Saving grace is Morton dropping out I guess
  16. Just shows how we’re truly rated that we’re underdogs at home to Swansea. In true Rovers fashion I’ll say a win here then defeat to Blackpool! Nice to have a home 3pm again anyway.
  17. Pears Brittain Carter Hyam Pickering Travis JRC Thomas Dack BBD Dolan If JRC is injured then Buckley I guess (assuming A.Wharton is injured)
  18. Yeah, they could easily rotate during the match too. I'd be starting the two of them with Thomas going forwards anyway.
  19. re: Dolan. 3 Goals and 4 Assists this season, only Brereton has more 'goal involvements' than him in the whole squad, and that's playing half the minutes that Hedges has, and less than Gallagher and Dack too. Agree with your later point about Dack, no issue at all with him shaking his head. Could be at his own performance, at the team performance, at not scoring etc. Just shows he wants to be on the pitch.
  20. I actually thought we looked worse when Hyam came on. Didn't cover himself in glory for the goal, another time he got absolutely skinned on the left until Pickering saved him with a sliding tackle. The 2nd half performance as a team was far worse than the 1st too (though that's not necessarily down to him)
  21. Aren't Sheffield United under some sort of transfer ban? Would love it if Boro catch them for that alone. (Obviously would rather they catch those next door instead, but that feels unlikely)
  22. 5 of our next 7 at home (if Burnley stays where it is). Weirdly only played 14 home vs 17 away so far this season.
  23. 2 great draws to be fair. Taking points off our rivals. Does make me rue not taking 3 from Wigan. Hopefully we can the business in the next 2 home games and get ourselves back in the top 6
