  1. Those top end prices are an absolute disgrace. Waggott needs to give his head a wobble at his earliest convenience.
  2. I think we’ve really missed a trick there with Jansson. Would have been exactly what we need at centre half.
  3. As boring as saying people are being hysterical or over reacting for having an opinion. Or calling each other happy clappers or negative. Just keep scrolling....
  4. The funny thing is, I absolutely agree tbh, but if anyone was repeating themselves in such a way about any viewpoint, I’d have the same reaction.
  5. I have no doubt that is what you believe and I’m sure neither does anyone else. You really don’t need to repeat yourself in every post, I don’t think anyone needs any light to be shed on your view of our goalkeeping coach.
  6. I’ve only seen Buckley in the first team once and he looked too lightweight and nervous. Presumably he won’t be like that forever, but there seems to be some creative licence going on here saying he’s better than Travis. He may end up being in time, but he really isn’t based on what I’ve seen so far. Replacing a first team regular that is up to speed with someone who isn’t yet is usually the kind of behaviour that ends in tears.
  7. I'll bet it's the lighting, tbh. I'm not sure if we've seen any reviews from folk on here that have bought them yet, either, but I'm sure they could confirm!
  8. Really happy with this signing, tbh. Bit harsh for anyone to call him a pensioner, he's 32 and played regularly for a team that reached the play off final last season. He also played the full match.
  9. Thanks for your input. Any comment on these players we are rumoured to be signing? Or are you just going to criticise those that have?
  10. It really isn't, it's just people remarking on things he's said in relation to transfers, in the transfer thread. Come on lad, you're better than being as sensitive as that!
  11. Well, to be fair, any manager should want success and if he doesn't believe in his ability to be the man to deliver that, it's a bit of a concern, I'll be honest. Assuming he has actually had to tell the owners to 'rein it in', he must be the first manager in history to do so. It's bizarre that he knows we need new players and not players to just make up the numbers, ones that are good enough to get into the starting eleven with immediate effect and he doesn't seem to want to buy these players.
  12. You’ll have to get him on Twitter mate, he’s not on here any more...
  13. Just a difference of opinion, innit. Many didn’t like last season’s, some didn’t. If you like it, fair enough, so do I, as it happens. That’s not to say I’ve liked every kit we’ve ever had, but you can’t get it right all the time...
  14. I hope you’re right, for your sake. Ask Madon...
  15. Nice shirt, not a nice sponsor. You win some you lose some.....
  16. Amen to that. Back to the transfers and tolerance of opposing opinions and no name calling. (Well, allow me to dream!)
  17. I suppose, the irony of all of this is that it could be interpreted that you're moaning about moaning...... Anyway, have a good day!
  18. I agree that Davenport will be like a new signing, I haven't actually had chance to see him play yet, as I missed the last game of the season. But then, to be fair mate, you're replying to everyone you don't agree with trying to tell them why you think they're wrong (which is your right, obviously). It's all just different opinions, I wouldn't get as stressed about it, it's only pixels on a screen.....
  19. Sense is subjective, to be fair. Only 4 days until our first pre-season match of the season and just over a month until our first match of the season!
  20. Completely ignoring the merits of his signing for a moment, let’s consider the below. I might be wrong here, but when Fraser Forster has that solitary England appearance, I think Southampton gave him a juicy new contract. Worth about £70k a week.... Being honest, if that were you and Rovers came calling offering (let’s say) £20k a week, you’d probably hang about for a better offer, wouldn’t you?
  21. I've got a bad feeling about us potentially selling Raya. With some solid coaching, I think he's got the potential to really improve if he cuts out the rushes of blood to the head he's prone to (Birmingham at home). That being said, if we got a decent fee for him and a more experienced 'keeper in, I think we'd be alright. However, Brentford aren't big spenders.....
  22. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, some are too harsh, some not harsh enough. People have different opinions. Isn’t that reflective of society in general? You say that you respect others’ opinions, then you go on to criticise them. I only ever see you post and remark on people’s views and tell people when they can judge the manager. Just maybe keep scrolling past people’s comments you don’t like and ignore them? Loads of people on here say things I disagree with and loads say stuff I agree with, such is life. I think we are getting into dangerous territory if we are telling people what they can and can’t think and when they are allowed to think it. My advice? Just keep scrolling....
  23. I'd definitely agree that some are being too harsh tbh. But then those same posters would say the other posters are being too kind. However, the sun's out and I've had a new pair of trainers delivered, so I'm not going to stress about it too much, if I'm honest!
