  1. Our tendency to start slowly is catching us cold again. What the hell happens in the dressing room pre match? He better (metaphorically) beat seven bells out of them at half time, they’re not fit to wear the shirt as it is.
  2. Definitely think it was Lenihan largely at fault for first goal, though Raya didn’t cover himself in glory either...
  3. I don’t think it’s dramatic to say that this is absolutely pathetic. A team that have been hideous so far this season and need a win? Don’t worry lads, Rovers will help you out! Arghhhhhhhh!
  4. A catalogue of errors, topped off with an awful header back from Lenihan and we’re a goal down....
  5. Of course I'm not censoring anything or dictating what words can be used. But it just seems a cheap shot to label people 'happy clappers' or 'negative' and a bit infantile tbh. I'm sure we're all better than that and we've got more to our vocabulary than using basic terms to shoot folk down that we don't agree with.
  6. I suppose the point was more why bother labelling people negative at all, just keep scrolling instead? What does it matter if people think differently, really? Allied to the fact that posts labelling people negative/overly positive en masse, derails threads and takes things away from the matter at hand when it's not really necessary. Maybe they are just like that? In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter what someone on the internet thinks that you'll never meet?
  7. I was just going to say, isn't it nice when we all get along so well?.......
  8. I don't get the point of calling people negative who dare to ask questions about signings, just like happens at every other club. Just like fans who question decisions of the manager, just like at any other club. People will always disagree with each other and that's alright. As I said the other day, it's only common sense to ask questions about us equalling our record transfer fee on a player, I think it's fair to say none of us know much about. People often make stuff up about what others have said and what they perceive to score points and it's a bit daft, not to mention inaccurate in many cases. Everyone on here wants Rovers to have the strongest possible squad in order to compete as much as we can, to suggest otherwise is just a bit mischievous IMO. Anyhow, have we signed anyone yet?
  9. Seems like your mate needs a stronger prescription for his glasses.....
  10. Having watched the highlights of them on Saturday, I'm not surprised. They'll be needing all the help they can get....
  11. Tbh, it was a 5 minute audio clip that was linked so I couldn't be bothered listening to it all, so fair enough if that's what he's said!
  12. Where will Rovers finish this season? : 13th Player of the Year : Bradley Dack Young Player of the Year: Lewis Travis Top Goalscorer: Bradley Dack Championship Promoted : Middlesbrough, Leeds, Stoke Championship Relegated : Rotherham, Reading, QPR Dark Horse : Bolton...... Hey....Stranger things have happened! Miscellaneous : Everyone from BRFCS goes out for a drink, kisses and makes up (metaphorically). (Re the latter, being real, I'm sure this meet up could be sorted easily enough.....)
  13. I get to see Bradley Dack play football live twice this week. How very pleasing!
  14. People keep saying the Brereton deal is a loan with a view to buy, but it seems like this is complete guesswork..... (Unless this has been widely reported, if it is I apologise, of course!)
  15. Because before George Best drank himself to death as you delightfully put it, he was rather good at football...
  16. A game we really need to be winning, this one. They’ve had a shocking start and we should be beating them really. Clement, like Garry Monk is one of those managers that generates a lot of hype but never really justifies it with results IMO.
  17. Querying equalling our record transfer fee on a 19 year old with loads of potential isn’t ‘writing him off’, it’s just common sense really. Like any signing, Brereton would be a gamble, but it fits the mould of player that we need to sign in my view. If we got him, a striker and another wide player, I think we’d be set.
  18. Probably keeps getting gigs because a) His agent b) He gives a cracking interview/he’s a world champion bullshitter
