  1. I wouldn’t be too against the signing of Downing. I doubt he’d be like the Murphy signing for two reasons: 1) He’ll be on a lot less money. 2) I doubt he will be the main man. That being said, I completely understand why people would have reservations about the signing. We have been burnt with signings of older players that haven’t worked out.
  2. Renewed mine already as I’ve nowt better to do! Could be better, could be worse, but I do like spending every other Saturday chatting noise with my mates, having a few pints, watching my heroes in blue and white in our wonderful cathedral of football. COYB.
  3. Apart from Mowbray himself saying promotion was the aim? ?
  4. Aphrodite- King of The Beats
  5. Everyone wants Brereton to succeed, why wouldn't they? We all support Rovers..... Problem is, people have their doubts, given what they have seen so far, that he will come good. Is there anything wrong with folk having a different opinion? Personally, I want him to succeed more than anything, and I truly hope he does!
  6. I’d be fairly into it if people could comment on players that were rumoured, instead of commenting on reactions to said players instead... Trolling isn’t sound ?
  7. Now you're on the wind up. Just rein it in please.
  8. Yeah, I've just logged on and you must feature in pretty much every post I've scrolled through.
  9. I'd wager that it's because he's only scored one goal, but I've been wrong before.... (By the way, not writing him off yet and do think he needs more games as well)
  10. Chvrches- The Mother We Share
  11. That’s a happy coincidence, as he wouldn’t come here for 7k a week!
  12. I’ll be honest, I’m not disagreeing with you, but I think you’ve described a number of teams and players there.... I wouldn’t say Villa were any worse than anyone else in that respect tbh.
  13. I’d forgotten about him. He was their manager for the game at Ewood this season...
  14. ‘Football needs "to look at how it treats the owners at some of its clubs" as without them, fans "wouldn't have a club’. Same goes the other way!
  15. He pretty much carried us for at least the last season and a half, so he’s allowed a slump in form, to be fair...
  16. Our top scorer for the last two seasons deserves a lot more respect than that! Out if interest, how many times have you seen both of those two play? Longstaff must have made about 10 appearances pre-injury and I’ve never seen James play, though granted he seems to be highly rated.
  17. You paying everyone’s subscriptions pal?
  18. Blueboy and Madon have summed up my thoughts in a nutshell, good work lads! For real though, he did a lot of good here, but this is clearly the right thing to do. It’s probably better to remember the good he did and move forward, rather than try to score points, eh?
  19. That McNulty that came on is younger and also fatter than me! (I’m 35) He looked about 45! ?.
  20. See you there lad! Inbox me if you want a pint! ?
  21. Every goal he scored was an absolute banger. His passing was outrageous. He took the proverbial out of players that ended up probably being better than him. The guy was a God. I’m 35 and he’s the best footballer I’ve seen play for Rovers. What a player. Thanks for the memories. (Of which there were absolutely loads).
  22. Can’t be assed arguing. Enjoy your weekend! ?
  23. De La Soul- Me, Myself & I
  24. It’s not at all. You’ve just proved my point though, thanks for that! I probably read posts as much as anyone, as I have to!
  25. More difficult to make an impact from the bench without a consistent run of games, I’m sure anyone would agree.
