  1. I’ve an affinity for Sunderland with some family roots there. Mowbray has landed on his feet at the club with some real talent and speed in the squad - I feel he will be found wanting and will suppress some of the talent in the short term like he did at times here with incessant tinkering. Sunderland fans are an unforgiving bunch and won’t put up with mediocrity 😅 as for Roberts if you ask their support he blows hot and cold hence why he is in the championship but with performances consistent like last night he has shown he has real quality - not many players with his quality in this league
  2. He may be but he cannot put in the amount of work Sam S us putting in because he hasn’t got the legs
  3. 2-0 3 points job done - put it in the bag and move on that’s all we ask👍 I wonder how bad Sam S is as he looked to hold his upper thigh/groin similarly Brittain also looked injured at the end?
  4. Tonight and the second half at Boro he is showing why Dack faces an almighty task to get in the squad
  5. No just against others who have differing views like yourself and who don't appear to accept that.
  6. you asked for examples and got one!
  7. Oops I forgot that you are always right!!😀
  8. The players you mention are young and established international players none of the ex-Rovers 3 are/were. A players valuation decreases over the period of his contract as he gets older, not one of the three would have garnished significant fees whereas Hyam has the potential for added value as does Brittain. I dont accept the blame the club in its entirety the players have 50% blame as well!
  9. Phillips is a young upcoming star not a 28yr old player looking for a last pay day its non comparable as he will more likely command a fee that will outnumber anything Lenihan has earned at Ewood in his career.
  10. but they trusted him to play where he does and bangs in a worldie having trapped turned and shot at goal! he also scored a poachers tap in from his positioning in the 6 yard box, cant ask more than that
  11. TP it happens across the football spectrum not just at Ewood
  12. I understand completely but a point a lot are missing is that Rothwell aside not a single club came in for either Lenihan or Nyambe over the past 3 seasons which emphasis the point about players thinking they are worth more or better than they actually are.
  13. 2 were from inside the club and didn't cost a penny whilst Rothwell was a free so again didn't cost anything!
  14. Condescending because of a difference in opinion? Give over😂
  15. Actually it is your good self who I have a differing opinion to! When I see things I don’t agree with I voice my concerns to the club not on a message board, as is the case when I see good things both on and off the park. My post was about getting the right info out there about the so called Big 3 who left for nothing! It is my opinion none are missed, ambition wise? Rothwell is out of his depth as well being injured, Lenihans ambition is to try and keep his place, win over the Boro support and avoid relegation whilst Nyambe has to shed some timber, get fit and then try to get in wiggins first team whilst hoping that he gets the dream move in the summer!😂😂
  16. And your point is what exactly ? All 3 had offers long before they ran out 2 agreed their deals - 1 was about to sign but then had his head turned with ambitious chat from a smarmy manager who is now unemployed and who breathed ambition as his sweet talk! Another came crawling back after realising the offer was actually better than he believed as not a single offer was made to him on the day so of his then advisor he stalled due to an unknown reason and at that point the club pulled the deal which was exactly the right thing to do ! As for player 3 he had wanted out due to his wag creating and falling out with others and wanted a return south he was never going to sign a deal! So all in all nothing can be blamed on the club 2 players had deals on the table for over 2 years and all that in uncertain economic times!!
  17. Tough game again but which Sunderland will turn up? Roberts is the danger so Harry P will have to be up for it Boro targeted him in the second half with Jones’s speed! No time for booing like the turds who booed Lenihan and who couldn’t even say his name right😅😅 1-0
  18. Rubbish ALL 3 made their own decisions to leave!!
  19. Not pretty at times and then a mixture of class and luck and a world class save gives us 3 points. Fabulous support apart from the 20 or so twats doing their best to besmirch our club - 3 points in the bag we move on
  20. Just on the outskirts of Smoggieland and it’s a beautiful drive on a lovely day just not sure the drive back will be as pleasant😅
  21. The winner came from his naivety as a young footballer!
  22. Going to smoggieland and not expecting anything other than a huge defeat and of course Lenihan to score 3-1 loss
  23. Dress sense, appearance and the fact that we could actually read notes that were in English and not a sign of Spanish amongst them, all were English apart from the Brighton scout who was a Scot!
