  1. You can get them here in France, though I'm waiting a bit before I get mine. Core System you can walk in and pick up, Premium has a 2-4 week wait.
  2. We've played all the big teams away from home apart from Spurs and that will mean our second half attendances should be a little bit better. Also should consider the fact that we've only had one league game while we've been in the top half, that was tonight after a packed christmas period against a pretty uninteresting opposition who only brought 400 fans themselves so 19,482 of our own lot isn't too bad. Consider the other day at Wigan, around 20,000 and 5,200 of those were so Wigan only had 15,000 there. I'd expect that with better games to look forward to in the second half of the season and with things on the up and a very positive feel around the place then we could see that average make it up to 22,000-23,000. Who knows, maybe it could even get higher, not really sure.
  3. Well you won't see me at Ewood anytime soon!
  4. Totally agree philipl. Use a bit of common sense here, not only is it ignorant but it also damages the club, not only the reputation. As has been stated several times there is a large asian population in the Blackburn area. It is because of this that if we are looking to increase crowd sizes then we should be looking to bring some of that into Ewood and convert them to Blackburn supporters. Now I don't know about you but I don't think we'll see that happen while some sections of our supporters sing about "paki bashing", no more so then you or I would go to a game if we were surrounded by a bunch of asians, arabs, africans (whichever group you choose) who were singing about slaughtering the whites or whatever.
  5. Don't agree with you there Jim. We sat back too much in the second half but they still only created two good chances. We dominated the first half and then in the second Savage and Emerton both should have scored after being set-up by Bellamy.
  6. Basically all the results are going our way at the moment other than in the Bolton-Liverpool game so if we could pick up a win it would do be great. Edit- As I say that Liverpool score and that scoreline is that much bit better for us.
  7. I don't remember this. I didn't think they booked you for taking off your shirt back then. Duff, for example, used to do it all of the time and was never booked for it.
  8. I think he'll start this one. He and Kuqi up front to really have a go at it.
  9. No. I don't want supporters of the same club as me singing racist songs. I also don't want to go to a game and hear opposition supporters singing racist songs. It is wrong, pure and simple and everything that can be done to get rid of it needs to be done, including having it criticised from all areas.
  10. Haha yes...I'm not advocating shipping in racist supporters, even I don't have ideas as weird as that. Should have been the comment about lua lua being a potential signing.
  11. That's actually something I've started thinking about recently and what is interesting for us is that this year may be one of the few years in recent seasons where there is quite a bit of good talent that we could use in the teams that could go down. Even looking at Sunderland, Arca could be an interesting buy for us to slot into the attacking left back role that Gray has shown can be such an important part of our game, and basically all of the teams down there have at least one player who would make a good addition to our starting 11.
  12. Since his injury he has made 19 starts and 32 substitute appearances in all competitions, scoring 7 times. He also had his loan spell at Coventry where he started 8 games and came on as a substitute once, scoring twice.
  13. He's not so under-rated anymore. It was only a couple months back that he was being tipped for an England spot. Fallen away with Everton this season but I always rated him. Had it not been for the need, and it was justified, to raise cash to bring in Cole then there was no reason to let him go.
  14. Very, very sad to see him go, even though like many others, we all knew it was going to happen. I somehow have this horrible feeling that he'll go somewhere else and be a success. As much as I want that to happen for him because he's a talented footballer and a great person there's part of me that doesn't. I do wish him all the best, but let's just hope this one doesn't turn out badly for us. He was part of a very special rovers team and one that I will always remember. He was very much a part of the youth and raw talent that filled that team and made it so great to watch. Perhaps it could be set-up that as a website (obviously for those members that wish to participate) we could send him some sort of message. Maybe something where everyone who wants to writes a little something just as a goodbye? Just an idea.
  15. Didn't help sunderland much either.
  16. A fantastic win and one that I will celebrate well tonight.
  17. Sorry situation? Since when has being 11th in the Premiership been a sorry situation? A couple more wins, one of which could be our game in hand, and we could find ourselves around 8th spot, is that really a sorry situation? We would be the envy of most teams and can consider ourselves very lucky to be sound financially and also have a nice secure position in the league. It would be great if someone injected money into the club so that we could bring in one or two players but you can't slate someone because they don't. It is his money, let him do with it what he wishes.
  18. Great win. Woke up this morning to the result and it made my christmas.
  19. The thing I'm getting most tired of is being on here one week after a win and hearing us praised from all sources then the next weekend half of you suddenly saying we are lucky not to be in the relegation fight.
  20. They may have struggled but they finished with the second best record of any European qualifier, so obviously everyone else struggled that bit more. The French and Germans are in with a shot but both are much weaker sides then the top nations going into the tournament. They will need their entire team to turn up and play out of their skins and on top of that have a bit of luck if they are to stand a chance of winning it.
  21. More the reason why I'm finding it difficult to see how the USA can get out of that group is the lack of a world class player in their side. As long as they don't have any injuries they will field a good starting eleven, certainly one of the best 12/15 in the world and the sort that makes them a difficult prospect for any side, but in an even game against another quality team I fail to see where that moment of inspiration will come from. It's for these same reasons that England can't afford to lose the likes of Rooney, Lampard or Gerrard, all player who can turn a game in a single instant. Several sides will go into this tournament feeling that they have a good chance of winning it. In the end the winner may well be decided by the team who's "special" players turn up and play well for those 7 games.
  22. It also does depend on the call he got. I'm sorry, but if as a defender you go to lunge and then get a call from the keeper, you have to pull out. I haven't seen it yet so I don't know in this case, but if he's gone and then Friedel has called and he's stopped then that is fair. If he's gone after a call, or if there is no call, then it is his fault.
  23. I'd also be surprised if England play Australia, just the other day SGE was talking about how, had he known about the rivalry between the two sides, he would never have given the first friendly the go-ahead.
