[Archived] Blackburn 2 - 0 Red Bull Salzburg

They would probably argue that there will be much less security and that they will be able to exercise much less control over the ground and that because of that it is best not to mix alcohol with two groups of fans from different countries who might have dangerous groups of supporters. I'm not saying that I would do the same, but I do understand it and don't believe it will ruin the game for supporters. -

I'd rather not have him do that Pleasure. I think lucas would be far wiser, especially now that he is our captain, to simply keep his head down and get on with life. Comments like that don't justify a response, we don't need players following the Bellamy line and throwing insults right, left and centre. -

4-0...feeling good about this one. -
Boro aren't playing well at the moment, but if we ever signed Yakubu I would be very happy.

Had a dream last night that we won 4-2 with Benni scoring a hat-trick. Not going to make that my actual prediction though. -

Well, two world cup's have gone by, just. I was merely pointing out that putting it that way makes it sound like a lot more than 4 years has passed by. I don't get why some find it so hard to understand why someone would be relectuant to give up on what they love, I know that I wouldn't. He obviously still has some of his talent, his few goals he has scored since his injury prove that, the problem is that he probably needs to drop down a few levels in order to be able to get regular games and really be effective. -

One world cup ago really though. It has been just over 4 years. To be fair, I think all of us would do the same. He's still a young man and it would be very hard to give up what you love and have always done if you still think you have a chance. -

I was watching TV the other day and they were talking about how most of those examples of the PC brigade are simply made up, particular mention of the ba ba black shep. -

I think a lot of people are interested in keeping tabs on a player who was a favourite of many. -

I think that wasn't bad. We had a striker who obviously couldn't score and brought in someone who did ok. -

Probably Grabbi. Expensive fee, no return. I'm still one of those that thinks he had a bit of talent and that it could have all worked out had things not gone the way that they did, but it would certainly be between him and Davies for me. -
I remember having to go out during that match but getting it on tape, still have it I believe. It really was depressing to watch.

The first goal was the sign of a defense not yet sure of itself. Three stepped up and Emerton didn't, playing Barton onside. It isn't unusual to have these sort of problems given the fact that 3 of the players are either new or in a new position, but we do need to sort it out soon. -

If that is still true come may then I think we will have all had a very enjoyable season. -

What makes you think that Hughes agrees? -
I think this is something that Hughes will have thought about and obviously he feels Neill is up to it. Neill has never said himself that he wants to leave (though I'm nearly 100% sure that he does), but he may well command the respect in the dressing room and have the qualities on the pitch that still make him a good choice.

The chat room doesn't seem to be working today. Anyone else have this problem?

Great preview. 2-0 Rovers -
I think a lot of luck is involved. There wasn't much between us and a host of other sides, we had luck in the fact that we didn't have too many serious injuries and that the team clicked. I'm not saying that we didn't deserve it, but we had a fair bit of luck in getting there which we may not have this season (already the Nelsen injury has made us rush into adding to the squad).

Will this be included in the prediction league? 3-0 Rovers.
