Brockhall STC - planning permission application ?
Mercer replied to Mattyblue's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You think of the £20million+ (fees and wages), IMO, spunked up the wall on Brereton and Gallagher in context of the 'destruction' of the club's crown jewel. IMO, this is all down to Mowbray's idiocy and abysmal management - we are further away from the PL as ever. I would happily sell a player every year to keep Brockhall in its entirety intact. Start with Armstrong. -

I would not hold your breath on Sharpe stirring things up: 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐲𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐞 @jinkyjase 5h Replying to @richsharpe89 It's not the responsibility of the club to determine what happens to the land, but it is their land to sell. Nobody goes after the farmer who sells his land to Redrow for them to develop 500 boxes. Rich Sharpe @richsharpe89 4h correct, and the club have obviously done the due diligence because otherwise no one would buy land earmarked for housing that they then couldn’t build on. That needs to be cleared up and explained though, as planning/employment documents suggest that couldn’t be the case. Think he should be all over this. -

Fully agree. Think it would be helpful if you 'Backroom' guys could find a way of collating these types of posts and forward to Messrs Sharpe, Bayes etc. Also, think it would be good for BRFCS to make a 'formal' representation to Ribble Valley Planning as they invite submissions. Historically, you've also been able to make representations in person. I've read some excellent stuff on this thread and constructive, coordinated input to Sharpe, Bayes and Ribble Valley Planning can only help. Also, has anyone within BRFCS got links, contacts to residents in the immediate vicinity of the Rovers' facilities at Brockhall as I am sure there will be a lot of noise emanating from that area and we could feed off one another. This planning application might not be as straightforward as perhaps Rovers think! -

Happy days! Recall the 'non performers' or 'those who wouldn't listen' being sent to run round Pleasington away from the 'training pitch'. Kenny showed he still had it! -

I also think Mowbray's words about 'kicking his gran' have gone to his head! IMO, the lad just needs to concentrate on his football instead of trying to wind up the opposition by constantly needling them (walking into them, giving them a shoulder etc). Aggression should be channeled the correct way otherwise it can become a needless point and the player loses focus and effectiveness. -

Two big concerns for me are Dack and Travis. Many were saying 'just wait until we can throw Dack and Trav in the mix'. IMO, Dack is really struggling. Will he really be the same force again? Was it wise to give him a lucrative new two and a half / three and a half year contract before Christmas? Travis hasn't recaptured his form and to me looks 'leggy' and lethargic. -
No. But I'm pretty sure there were no plans submitted to sell off part of the training complex and build houses on it.

So, it seems Tony might be blaming the fans for Nyambe's injury. My message to Mowbray - we've been living in extraordinary times in the last 12 months; you have caused me additional anguish with IMO, your glib soundbites, your bullsh1t and excuse and blame culture. Other fans may feel the same. In the name of God, do the right thing and walk. -
I think Mowbray will end up being even more hated than either Kean or Coyle were. IMO, with fans in the ground, he would no longer be in a job. Think the longer this sad escapade drags on then the more horrible and nasty his remaining tenure and eventual departure will be.

So depressed tonight. Won a bundle on Forest win but no solace. Think we are in a real mess. Other than insolvency, I don't know where the feck we are heading. -

Disagree. IMO, not the nice, humble, man of integrity guy he's made out to be. He took us down and in reality I don't think we are much better placed than when he first arrived. As a result, seems like owners might have started to realise our assets! -

His selection made me think there's been a bit of dissent since Barnsley! -

Got banned for a couple of days and also got a couple of urgent jobs on. God forbid but expect to be working most of tomorrow if some info i'm waiting for comes through. -

Performance getting steadily worse. A couple of posters asked what going big on Forest means - have put a sizeable wad on Forest win, enough to get me a case of quality reds. Cardiff look set for 5 wins on the trot and 17 points out of 21 since big Mick arrived. Shows what a half decent manager can do - if we had one, IMO, we'd be top 6 comfortably. -

Seems like some of our fans having been getting stuck into Bayes and Sharpe a bit - now hearing a bit of a different tune!? -

Dedham Vale Homes was dissolved via a voluntary strike-off (cost effective method for closing down a solvent company). -

In his position, i'd be dragging folk from their beds tonight to get to the bottom of this - you don't take no for an answer! -

Sharpe is on it: Rich Sharpe @richsharpe89 3h Replying to @pmall1 no, but on my radar now so will check it out. Literally could be anything from taking down a tree to work on the buildings. IMO, Chamberlainesque !!! -

Distraught when I read this thread. I genuinely fear there will soon be nothing left of our great club and Jack's legacy. Maybe, the 'tipping point' has now been reached - one dreads what might happen next. Waggott, Mowbray and Venus can all feck off and sooner the better. -
So you don't rate Nyambe and based on an earlier post of yours, you are writing him off because he's 23 years old and gone past 'potential stage'. You blame Nyambe for a goal at Newcastle. Question - how many goals and points has Mowbray cost us this season with IMO, his disorganised chaos, lack of game plan, poor substitutions and generally p1ss poor game management. Surely, Mowbray is not good enough and has to go?
-
Life is difficult enough at the moment without having to read / listen to what is , IMO, patronising bullsh1t on an almost daily basis from Mowbray. Today's LT article is, IMO, a p1ss taker in the extreme. For God sake Mowbray, just feck off back to Teeside and fill your guts with your beloved lemon drizzle cake. We want honesty, hope, ambition, hunger and excitement from a new manager.
-
Almost £200million suggests they might well have. Appoint a top class CEO and Football Manager and everything will change - in over 10 years under these owners, we have had neither.
-
Neil had him for breakfast. PNE have had so many players coming and going over recent weeks yet Neil still had them very organised - they looked streets ahead of Rovers who, IMO, were utterly shambolic and clueless. The buck stops at the manager's door.
-
A poor manager who got us relegated when he was appointed to keep us up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His words at Blues in Feb 2019.
