  1. Past hour
  2. It doesn't come as a shock to note that when you sporadically post you have nothing positive to say about this forum.
  3. Agreed. Can't see why either the selling Club or the player would agree to it and reduce their demands. Either he's fit in which case there's no issue or he isn't in which case you either take a slight gamble on his fitness now to beat off other interest in the player and secure his services or cut out the financial risk by waiting until he's fit and there's no issue.
  4. It came as quite a shock to see that you have reacted negatively to a potential signing.
  5. I think Batty was one of those players who you only really appreciate by watching live. So much of his good work was done off the ball - when Le Saux was rampaging forward and we lost the ball the opposition would naturally look to utilise the space left. Batty just naturally knew to cover those spaces. Similar to Tronstadt in many ways πŸ˜‰
  6. It was 3 or 4 the other day RW, AM, CM and CB. Got a link to the story?
  7. I just dont understand this. The player seemed an interesting one, seems to have really emerged in the last year and was linked to some big clubs, a potential midfield powerhouse. But youve got the massive red flag of this ongoing medical issue. Even if you renegotiate the terms, its still surely too much of a risk? But my main issue is again, if we only have the capability to get 2 or 3 more in, this type of player is surely well down the list of priorities. And now that 2 or 3 seems to have reverted to 2 more signings, although it is again more ambigious reporting by Elliott Jackson.
  8. What I read was that stress fractures take about 6 weeks to heal, no idea if true….but as he played yesterday it seems he’s fit. So I don’t get it either. Pay as play on the transfer fee makes little sense from the selling clubs perspective. Pay as you play on the wages makes little sense for the player. Unless it’s a heavily incentivised so he gets a lot more if he does play regularly. Have any of the Noxon followers asked him to clarify what he means?
  9. If Baradji was coming in we'd need an absolute minimum 3 imo, him plus a decent RW and another striker.
  10. So they are persistently interested in a player with fitness concerns because they think they'll fill another place in the squad as cheap as possible. Pay as you play must sound ever so appealing.
  11. LT saying we are hopeful of 2 more signings before the window shuts πŸ™„is this with Baradji? Was hoping for more tbh.
  12. You'll be having a quiet time of it then.
  13. All three scored during the tournament too.
  14. That was the story a week or so ago. More he plays the more the selling club gets. Wouldn’t be the players wages. Wouldn’t benefit Rovers as he won’t be on much.
  15. I don't get this situation. He's either injured and therefore can't/shouldn't play or he's actually fit to play. Rumours were the medical flagged up a stress fracture in his foot? There must be treatment for this type of injury, even if it's just rest and therefore we can decide if he'd be worth signing or not.
  16. Not offended in the slightest. Wasn't aware I'd insulted you in the discussion, you're the one flinging insults about
  17. Sorry about that πŸ˜„ It's transfer talk only for me, can't be arsed about all the other stuff on here. Got so many people on ignore you wouldn't believe πŸ˜„
  18. Why would they agree to that? What would happen if he was fit for selection but we simply didn't pick him?
  19. You’re a strange chap. You’re quick with the insults then get offended if you get a little bit back. Like I said bore off, you really are fucking tedious.
  20. Unnecessarily prickly. You're basing your assumptions in that position on a player that most likely won't be here, rendering them meaningless.
  21. I think the pay as you play deal will be with the club rather than the player.
  22. All players should be on pay as you play it would change the sport for the better. Basic wage all players get the same if you don't play if you do play you can get the mad money
  23. 'fuckouttahere with your transfer talk. This thread is for petty pissing matches about assumptions.
  24. I don’t understand the pay as you play bit? So we’re going to pay the same fee for the player, but only offer him a pay as you play deal? Seems a very odd approach. If they have serious doubts on his fitness then why are they signing him?
