  1. Past hour
  2. Scott Wharton went out at same age. Hayden Carter was 22 when he went to Portsmouth.
  3. Brentford and Matthew Benham don’t often get things wrong but this certainly feels like a strange one. I’d be surprised if they don’t regress now.
  4. That's a really odd move. I assume they're trying to ship him out - a loan with an option to buy. At 21 he really should be breaking into the first team.
  5. I was posting after pick32 said that there is "zero evidence" that Dolan is better than Kargbo. The benchmark of the Dolan of the season just gone is quite strong. Hard to know too much about Kargbo, hopefully can cut out diving in the box, giving away silly fouls and running off the pitch.
  6. Broughton bought him and it seemed neither JDT or Eustace fancied him. Normally that'd be a damning indictment because they see him in training every day, but both managers also consistently started Calamity so they're not infallible. He's come on twice as a sub.
  7. Jesus Christ no body is saying that. A poster has just posted that Dolan is better than Kargbo...How on earth can someone suggest that when Kargbo has played hardly any minutes...and the minutes he has played he's had an impact.
  8. No, but it's irrelevant to my point that the proposed changes are dreadful.
  9. Wasn't a comment on his ability, was just pointing out that it isn't a domestic deal. The growing narrative seems to be almost as if Eustace would have a full team of English pensioners if he could. The fee will be far more than we would spend here.
  10. Dolan has proven to be a decent/good Championship wide man. There is no evidence at this stage to suggest that Kargbo is better.
  11. Massive risk to loan out him without someone coming in and after Wharton's serious injury 1 goal in 3.5 games. How much is he costing?
  12. Zero evidence to say Dolan is better than Kargbo. Short memories
  13. Well I take it you don't follow any US sports then?
  14. Massive risk to loan out one of 4 centre backs if there isn't another lined up though.
  15. Shortest joke in the world - "Velcro, it's a rip-off" Biggest joke in the world - "Rovers, it's a rip-off.
  16. Like I said the other day, I think the ruling of spending big on one player is such a gamble in this division. Had a quick search and he's has a lot of similarities to Gueye.
  17. Today
  18. Agreed, only positive is that he’s still young enough and could improve. League 1 will be a test for him. Hopefully he can hold his own
  19. Who determines the decision that he's better? I'll let you off now that I'll agree that Tronstad may be better, then again he's up there with the best in the league...BUT...I bet you a donation to a charity of your choosing that you thought the same when he walked through on a free 2 seasons ago. I'll wait till the lads kicked a ball before taking an opinion.
  20. Derby are also spending big money on an American striker from the MLS.
  21. At a normal club you would think so. Here? Who knows.
  22. Tronstad was a cheap option was he not? Turned out pretty well. No way of knowing right now how good or bad Tavares will be for us without having seen him kick a ball.
  23. O’Riordan has been a bizarre signing, I don’t think I have ever seen him play a game for us and we spent decent money (for us) on him.
