  1. Past hour
  2. Not clear enough Revidge, wasn't directed towards the author of this article which agree is balanced - born out frustration that the politicking from the usual suspects at the club seems to work so effectively amongst the wider fanbase.
  3. To keep fans onside -we did the best we could yada yada, it was the player's fault, nothing to do with us guv..
  4. I think anyone who uses the word "aligned" from now on should be fined £10. Money to go to charity!
  5. Very one sided battle, Travis v Cantwell should be good
  6. A few more of our released youngsters have now found new homes Pat Gamble signed for Warrington Town (7th tier) Dan Shaw signed for Rugby Town (7th tier) Bradley Taylor (who I think spent the majority of the past 3 seasons injured) is now at Ashton Utd (7th tier)
  7. Travis v Tronstad be weird, and that's just for us watching.
  8. For the manager to call him out like that? I don’t know what’s gone on, but why would you choose those words if you weren’t making a point?
  9. Y'all love your straw men. Setting expectation at Playoffs or bust is hilarious. We're clearly not that club under these owners - look at the money Wrexham and Birmingham have spent. We also have 3 parachute payment teams and Sheffield United hanging around too. We'll be mid table, adrift of the automatic promotion spots by Christmas and just generally making up the numbers unless Gestede is a genius and all of these new signings are excellent.
  10. because the website is rarely kept fully updated by someone who cares The same page named Ryan Kidd as U18s manager throughout last season despite Darragh Tuffy having held the post for a year
  11. Agree...... but I thought this particular article was fair and balanced. Don't think the author is "falling for" any of it.
  12. Hmm...I think there is a lot more to this than we know.. As well as "life changing money", I am also smelling a trail of bad feeling e.g...Gestede, Suhail, Eustace, Leslie Fielding's "redundancy" etc.. Looks like a clear out of all those, who challenged the new orthodoxy or were not "aligned"...
  13. Waggott is still listed at Companies House...
  14. This stuff writes itself...😆 https://www.rovers.co.uk/club/staff/
  15. Why then would he still be listed as an employee whereas Waggott is not? This does need clarifying. One poster on here suggested he'd had personal issues to deal with.
  16. So 7th with a manager not backed in January, behind the scenes arguing and power battles. Surely, now that we are all aligned we would expect at least the same or above.
  17. Farewell Trav, you shall be missed.
  18. From the article... His newly found “renaissance” might have encouraged the Rovers’ hierarchy to look at offering a more favourable contract in an honest attempt to retain the player’s services. Obviously not.
  19. My thoughts exactly. Wrong way round. Travis always put it in for us on the pitch. Buckley didn't.
  20. Glad the travis saga is done with, really liked him on and off the pitch. Certainly feels like a new era has begun on the pitch. I’ve been very critical but feel the squad is starting to take shape with some exciting unknown additions. Hopefully add a striker and they can do the fans proud.
  21. I dunno about it being a record but it’s certainly a bit weird. Screams of a lack of imagination to me.
  22. Gardening leave is likely the obvious answer, paid to not be here, Schrodinger's coach
  23. Is it a record for any manager signing 5 players from your ex-club the very next season?
  24. Depends how low tbh. Results are important but if we lose more than last season games it will also be about the manner in which the players perform which will also matter to me. The early and late goal are something that annoy me under VI.
