Solomon Honor has had several outings this season and performed well. Barrett is at Tranmere on loan but I'm not sure why Goddard didn't play.

The modern academy model and everything that's wrong with it pushing little bodies from early age beyond their natural growing limits. Get into their 20's if they're lucky and everything starts to go pop. -
Why didnt Jack Barrett or Felix Goddard play as keeper?

We'll have to wait and see. You might be right in that they're all Lee Carsley style early favourites to relieve mug punters of some money. -

I've never heard of him tbh. Their list of potential replacements at the top of the betting looks rather higher quality than ours was. Carrick, O Neill, Rodgers and Gerrard. They're welcome to Ismael and we'll take the 2.5 years compo. -

Wharton seems to be made of glass and never appears to be far away from the next injury. You cannot build a team or depend on players who are so injury prone. Carter the same. Rovers should look for a replacement pronto, or bring O'Riordan back as soon as possible and see if he's up to the job -

Sounds similar to plantar fasciitis, uncomfortable and irritating but doesn't stop you doing anything. PF is very difficult to get rid of though, and sometimes never goes away -

Very informative, cheers. Be a disaster for us if Wharton is out for ten weeks. Faced with a choice of paying a substantial fee for a replacement or getting a loan or a free agent in as cover we might see Ismael's longstanding aversion to the latter magically disappear. -

The initial prognosis was ten weeks. I had a similar injury years ago and it a strange thing that I could run almost normally but pushing off to sprint was uncomfortable. I was told just to rest with some gentle stretching daily. -

Do we know what the likely recovery time is if that's the case? -

They showed him in the stand at the Derby game and he didnt appear to be in any obvious discomfort. Would he have been up and about if he'd torn his achilles? Posing the question because I dont know either way. Edit: Arbitro beat me to it! -

He has a slight tear in the sheath of his achilles I understand. That is completely different to a full year which would most likely be a full season out. -
Swansea sack Sheehan. They're a point ahead of us, albeit with us having a game in hand.

At the end of the day it's not the players fault or the fans fault. We can still enjoy the things that we all know are good. -
