  1. Past hour
  2. it really will be the lowest point in rovers history if we start touting players for sale to the likes of wrexham
  3. 2015 Cairney 2025 Travis Both totally illogical and stupid concepts to most people but at Venky Rovers we need a quick injection of cash so there we go. A decade on and nothing has changed.
  4. strip away that corporate ******* and the add could read, don`t worry about any of the football or finance stuff,we really want someone as a figurehead who can take the blame for everything must be experienced in dealing with idiots, incompetents, fantastists and invisible owners
  5. True. The ad shows that far from Suhail being close to the exit, he's consolidating power - shaped the requirements for the next CEO and blatantly stated that the job is CEO in name only. The fact that it says don't worry about finance (Suhail), football (Rudy) or commercial (Yasir) says it all. An absolute shambles and pressure needs to be ramped up.
  6. Well we are desperate for 3.9 mill and hey presto Nixon is trying to sell Travis to Wrexham. He's doing the clubs dirty work like always and getting the ball rolling for them and getting Travs name out there.
  7. Pasha/Rudy at the Wheel,at the Wheel,Pasha/Rudy at the Wheel,Nah,Nah,Na,Na,Na,Nah Pasha/Rudy at the Wheel!....... Plenty more shit to come folks.
  8. That's a good point, reminds me of the Shearer era when it was announced after most people got their STs that he'd be leaving for 'Home'
  9. A lack of self respect is essential for working for venkys.
  10. twas the reason they put the season tickets on sale very early🙂,they never do anything quickly at rovers, unless there is an ulterior motive
  11. We've seen this before. First up he will be assured that he will get a good chunk of cash from sales to reinvest. Then it won't appear due to admin errors etc. Textbook Venky Rovers.
  12. pasha and his muppets are quite capable of relegating us this season,we know the plan, sell anyone of any value, get a pile of loans in, a few free transfers and fill the rest of the squad out with academy players (wether they are ready or not),i can`t see ismael standing for it and im`e expecting him to walk away when he realises he`s been set up big style
  13. Adam Forshaw to return as the Travis replacement 👀
  14. If you had any financIal / commercial / insolvency experience then you would recognise, even for a football club, Rovers are something of an exception to the rule. Forget what I consider is bullshit about the 'benefactor model', there is, IMO, something inherently wrong with our club. Our owners are not not local folk or lifelong Rovers' fans who have a strong emotional attachment where often the heart rules the head, they are supposedly wise Indian business folk and that being the case, I would have expected them to have cut and run a long time ago. Is there a reason why they seemingly wont try to sell the club? If they ever do, my services to carry out due diligence are there for any prospective investor free of charge.
  15. I am absolutely frightened by what will happen this summer window if rumours are to be believed, that we've effectively listed the whole squad for transfers.
  16. That ad is seriously depressing. Any CEO with any self respect would laugh at that ad. CEO of a club but don't worry about football, finances or commercial because the three stooges have that covered. Embarrassing.
  17. Today
  18. You have also predicted imminent administration for about 10 years in a row to be fair.
  19. I posted about an hour ago that i thought we are not that far off rock bottom - how much evidence does any supporter need!? Eustace from a top 6 club to a bottom 3 club, Travis maybe to Wrexham and make no mistake there will be more 'headlines'. Think the writing is on the wall about Brittain and Tronstrad. With Pasha and Gestede effectively running Rovers, nothing at all would surprise me. I shudder about their abilities for such roles - totally unsuited IMO. Wonder what those who have bought season tickets are thinking? Think pants have well and truly been pulled down.
  20. The urgent priority when the season ended was to tie key players down to new contracts. Brittain, Batth, Travis, Tronstad and Dolan. These are the mainstays of the team that got us to the brink of the playoffs last season. Zero contracts signed so far and very little talk of anything imminent. Seeing as players have stated they want to stay, they shouldn’t be hard deals to complete. You have to assume the plan is to sell the players. More asset stripping.
  21. Remember that the real headline here is that Rovers want to sell their captain (and indeed anyone else they can get money for). If they didn't want to sell them they would have tried to keep them beyond next summer. They haven't tried, so they want them to go. Who they go to and how much we get are secondary.
  22. I wonder what we will spend the 3 million on: Electricity. Going away party for Waggot. Microsoft Excel training course for Gestede. loan deal for a 16 year old Liverpool player that will be ready for Championship foolball in 4 years. More Indian solicitors to see if they can push the court date out even further.
  23. I remain convinced that even though they aren't looking for a CEO (they are looking for a public face and a box-ticker) they still won't even be able to get that over the line and instead will muddle on with Pasha-Sufi-Gestede-Talbot basically managing between them, and a charade that they are actively seeking a CEO. They will only actually get one if the heat on Venkys and Pasha gets too high or if that gang can't cope with the demands of the job between them. Truly frightening stuff considering where this club has been and should be. I wouldn't trust any one of them to run a bath. I keep on saying it but this is a club in complete and utter crisis, once again imposed by unfit wretched owners, and the only thing covering for that up to press has been the remnants of a solid squad and good management from JDT and Eustace. The party is inevitably going to come to a shuddering and horrific end, that is an inevitable consequence of choices made by these owners and their minions. Unfortunately too many supporters are deluded that because results have kept on coming things are fine, or because the local media won't report on the very serious issues in India (because they can't be arsed and don't understand it) people can just ignore it and pretend these owners are necessary to our future. A ridiculous opinion in my view but hey ho I think they call it stockholm syndrome. Bring it on I say. Appoint a complete buffoon as CEO or even better let the stooges already in place pick up the slack. All it will do is bring the shambles into clearer focus and wake a few up.
  24. Remember when everyone laughed when Eustace was linked with Derby. Travis will be sold.
  25. our fans are extremely naive to be laughing this one of an all.
  26. haven’t seen any movement on that player we were in ‘advanced talks’ with but I guarantee we’ll see movement on selling Travis. We’re all over the sales but buying players no.
