  1. Past hour
  2. bit last minute but is there any way to get tickets for this?
  3. They must have a good deal in place with Cantwells agent i cannot believe they've no tried to get him out the door pronto given his alleged wage. Must be some nice kickbacks promised if he gets a good gig somewhere next summer courtesy of his time here.
  4. He had one year left on his deal so essentially the new two year deal incorporates the one year loan and if it doesn’t work out his club is covered- sensible all round. Right winger is a must! I have a feeling we will sign a loan striker too
  5. If they knew he was going why would they care/pay I’d assume poor all round and yes no coincidence that Travis goes and one comes in begs the question of this right winger
  6. At rate we going ...can we pay the lunch lady and groundsman
  7. The fact that it's been done simultaneously with Travis's expected departure would indicate we couldn't bring him in any earlier for financial reasons. But you're right, it would have made a lot more sense to get him in earlier and sort out any medical issues then. If he needed any surgery why wouldn't his current Club have had it done?
  8. All that would make too much sense
  9. What I don’t understand is if he has been their top target all summer why not sign him early July and get the minor surgery then? On the same deal we have now encase it doesn’t work out? Seems like pretty much 2 months wasted on what was clearly our top target
  10. Baradji looks like an AM looks a big lad strong but can run at players it seems
  11. Suppose we will find out when they post the obligatory social media interview and if they don't post one, then the answer is "no" πŸ˜‰
  12. Selling players for a couple of million then investing jack-shit in cheap shite from the continent. Wouldn't be surprised if we sold Leonard and Tyjon and brough Fode Koita back.
  13. Wicket that brings in the footballing equivalent of Woakes in the 5th test...
  14. You can't really see if that comment relates to a specific question about the size of the fee. He does say his "information" is that the fee "will" exceed Β£3m. Which makes it seem extremely odd that he earlier wrote online that it "could" do so. Also relies on his "information" being truthful as well I suppose.
  15. 600 up. I think a wicket is about to fall but at the moment the bails are just teetering precariously.
  16. Dapo afolayan? There was a story a few weeks back. Is there new news?
  17. He's on loan so given the nature of this deal i'd say his handlers plan is get him here, get him fit, showcase his talents whilst costing Rovers not much then get him as good a club/deal as possible next summer. Agents vehicle again.
  18. They're all left-wingers at St. Pauli. https://www.thepeoplesgame.org/2014/06/16/hooligans-of-the-world-unite-fc-st-pauli/
  19. Oh I agree, I don't think the signing makes sense, and I don't get the hype he's got. But since we have been so desperate to sign him this way at least protects us in the event he's a crock.
  20. Comes to something when a journo feels he has to do that. This club is relentlessly toxic.
  21. The most likely outcome is he has his operation, and spends the majority of the season injured playing a few games off the bench before being sent back next summer
  22. What I would say is that it makes me even more sceptical about his injury, we must think it is a risk worth not signing him permanently for, yet he has been our top target. And I've never understood the hype from one YT video and Swiss league relegation battle, but happy for him to prove me wrong for us.
  23. Baradji needs to come in and make a real difference. We've just sold our club captain and replaced him with this bloke. Him being constantly injured isn't an option, in fact, if he is, it's catastrophic.
  24. Rather random question but does Baradji speak English?
  25. I think you're going to be very disappointed if you think that is what will happen
  26. Loan with an option makes sense for Baradji. We apparently think he is injured and needs surgery and who knows how that goes, while Yverdon and presumably Baradji are happy to play matches. Medical team get to monitor him properly now over a season and then can make informed decision on permanent signing next summer. Other posters have commented on the risks associated with the injury he allegedly has as well, so it protects club. We'd all be slamming them if we paid up and then he was a crock. (Also it saves money up front for us to back out next year and sign someone cheaper..)
