  1. Past hour
  2. Just looking ahead to the fixtures for the reast of the season, those final 9 games make for very bleak viewing. Millwall away Boro at home Brum away WBA at home Stoke away Coventry at home Sheff United away Southampton away Leicester at home The fact that they've not managed to beat any of the teams around them has me thinking it's inevitable that they go down this season.
  3. And considering he has never scored a single goal at this level, thats say a lot.
  4. His goal record in this country suggests he is equally bad in both boxes
  5. You are correct in that. But we are all a demoralised and exhausted fanbase and, to be blunt with you, you have stated with absolute certainty venkys will leave if certain individuals go. Armed with some intel that many of us clearly arent, then, what might be done by any/all of us to achieve ousting those individuals? I have no idea, as a reasonably informed individual, how to do that. And talk of organised protests goes round and round on here without unanimity whilst I am unconvinced they would achieve that particular initial key outcome. Evidence of the "certainty" of that outcome leading to venkys going would be a huge game changer for many. Do you have it, or were you describing a personal belief, rather than absolute certainty? I realise electronic discussions can be interpreted differently and I dont want the above to come across as confrontational - it isnt intended that way. I think wording is very important and your original post gave me hope. Subsequent ones, less so.
  6. Surely if it is called ‘The Coalition’, it very much is down to them (forget WATR).
  7. The "direction of travel" was to get someone in who willingly will accept cheap crap from poor foreign leagues, selected by a novice, to replace key players purely to get the wage bill down. Whatever happened to just appointing the best manager available and recruiting based on what he wants. Wagner seemed to be just a rumour. Whoever we appointed was probably doomed to failure although he cant have done much worse than Ismael.
  8. Agree with previous post from Kidder. Last season when the fans targeted the 3 execs it caused a bit of a stir and forced them into that woeful interview. However as always with Rovers fans, as soon as the club string a few positive results together the pressure dies off. I could understand it to a certain degree with last season because there were still faint hopes of a playoff place, but this time round there really is no excuse to not be putting sustained pressure on Suhail and Gestede.
  9. Pasha is Venky's advisor. Target him and make it uncomfortable at matches. Pasha has been a constant figure since the owners took over. Has started to be targeted heavily in the last 12 months or so. I'm just going to be completely blunt with you. It's not down to just 1 supporter group to do something about it.
  10. Pretty much all the rumours stated it was him and Suhail power struggling with Waggot. Rather odd five mins after a lad has supposedly just turned up to shadow him around and learn his job.
  11. JDT will have looked at Mowbray's tenure and thought if I can have that time and manage to get some of that backing I can achieve something. The club seemingly agreed to his "project" at the beginning, so whilst I wouldn't have trusted the club to deliver, I can understand why he thought he might be able to do something here. Eustace knew what he was walking into and had an escape plan. Much like Lambert, he made sure he had a way to get out if all wasn't as it seemed. I think he believed the squad was good enough for him to do a decent job, and if things looked like they were heading south he could jump before the ship sank. There were risks involved, especially if he couldn't get the team into a decent position, but he did a good job and therefore had the interest needed from elsewhere to get away in time. Ismael also knew what he was walking into, but likely didn't have the leverage to negotiate a release clause. Maybe he does have one, but I'd be surprised. He's only comparable with Eustace in the sense they both knew what they were getting into. I agree that their situations are completely different otherwise.
  12. We are like a Dog chasing its Tail, around and around we go. The Coalition appear unsure of what course of action to take.
  13. McLaughlin seems better at attacking balls in the opposition box rather than our own!
  14. McLaughlin and Miller are not much better !
  15. Not a fan of Gestede by any means but how did he stab Waggott in the back?
  16. Yesterday you stated that "if certain people leave. We’re very certain the owners will follow". If you believe that with the certainty you stated (I dont think you responded to my reply anout this) then why are you posing this question and asking others to come up with solutions when we aren't aware of the facts that make this such a certainty, for you? Your wording suggested the crucial action is targeting particular individuals. So who are they and how might that be effective, based on the information that gives you such certainty? I feel like I'm missing something here between certainties and asking what to do.
  17. And in the meantime he'll have to console himself by picking up his £600k p.a. My nose bleeds for him. I dont think you can compare JDT/Eustace and him at all personally.
  18. I couldn't possibly confirm it as it's just my opinion. Pasha is in India having 'critical talks' is what I was told.
  19. One with an eye on his seat whose real intentions were to stab him in the back first opportunity and get rid.
  20. I have zero sympathy for VI in terms of the position he's in. He knew the score when he arrived. Same with Eustace, for the record. JDT had made it publicly known he'd been messed about and not even allowed to resign. The only difference being that Eustace took us on as a calculated risk and made sure there was a release clause in his contract as an escape route. He had confidence he'd be able to do well enough in the meantime to generate interest and fair play to him, it worked. I doubt Ismael is in the same position, in any respect. He's likely stuck here. He'd have known what he was getting into though. He'll just have to deal with it I'm afraid.
  21. The fans have been divided for the past 15 years. Perhaps it is time for the minority, to join with the majority.
  22. Where are you Rude boy? You were laying down the law with a swagger, giving it the big one and talking the talk in the Summer...in hibernation from the coming East Lancs Winter Son?
