  1. Past hour
  2. Bowyer / lambert - as with a lot of good players we had we didn’t/couldn’t get the best out of them he went on after that to be a very capable championship player but as mentioned above injuries and attitude hampered him
  3. He was here 2015/16 season so would have been Bowyer/Lambert I think
  4. Still not go over him ballooning that ‘winning’ volley over the bar against the Dingles 🙈
  5. We usually put on a strong but losing display at Portman Road. One of my favourite games of all time was a 4-3 defeat in the League Cup in the days when full strength sides were put out. Ipswich were 2nd in the First Division and we were languishing in the second. Garner tore Butcher and Osman to pieces (the England first choice central defence partnership) and after leading 2-0 then 3-2 late goals from John Wark and Paul Mariner squeaked Ipswich through. I expect after having two good performances against Ipswich already this season, we will again give them a good game. Would be nice to go 1 up and get 3 points this time.
  6. No from me for his miss against burnley,i'm that petty
  7. They haven't actively tried to sell it either and people are on record saying they didn't want to. So how the hell do we get any bids other than sitting in fantasy land waiting for a Saudi to pop up and offer 100 million ?????? Whilst the club slowly turns to shit !
  8. Haha, did he say whether they are likely to sign them?
  9. I thought he was poor here. Was it under Coyle or Lambert?
  10. Biggest issue with Lawrence is his fitness. Barely played for Rangers last year and not many games over a number of years now. In isolation his age and quality aren't a concern.
  11. Serious attitude problems if I remember lockdown correctly?
  12. I’m not convinced either and he has no business playing upfront.
  13. How hard are they looking for buyers though. They can cut all costs and forget about us until the saviour comes along.
  14. Tom Lawrence is well past it now but he certainly wasn’t shot back in his prime
  15. And he was shit even back then. That would be a new low in the barrel scraping.
  16. There has been no serious offers put to the club with proof of funds for the past 10 years, and when that happens it will be considered. And if the price is right it could be accepted. Nothing more to add to this.
  17. Yep. I mean he has pedigree at this level but his age is a bit of a worry.
  18. Lol maybe from 2015 when he used to play with us
  19. According to the daily mail, we are interested in Tom Lawrence. 32 years old and available for around £130k. Seems within range of our budget.
  20. I wouldn't 😒 even free agents seem to be a problem for our Venky tightwads.
  21. But he's free and plays a position we don't use in our formation. I'd be surprised if Rudy hasn't already been in touch.
  22. Im surprised at the level of vitriol they have towards supporters with a different viewpoint and this site in particular. Imo it merely reinforces the point that I was having a Mrs. Merton style "heated debate" with Matty about. There's absolutely no point trying to win the hearts and minds of everyone, some supporters just won't agree. However to my mind if a boycott has SOME success it's job done. Similarly if the Coalition feel a boycott and/or subsequent protests are the right thing to do they must press on regardless of whether some disagree. If anyone else wants to formally present the other point of view about why most of us on here and the Coalition are completely wrong then of course it's always open to them to do so. Tbf to chaddy he seems to be doing his best to emphasise everyone should respect everyone else's point of view on there.
  23. I do like the old 'You wouldn't be moaning if we were winning'.. Correct. I have nothing against the ownership other than the apparent malaise and lack of ambition. If tomorrow Venky's decided they were pumping money in, aiming to re-establish us a PL side. Did the stadium and Brockhall up. Appointed some top notch staff and players I'm sure everyone would be delighted. All I want is to enjoy watching the Rovers again. I'd love nothing more than the above to happen- but water in the bridge tells me it's very unlikely. They came in with big ambitions, champions league didn't they? Not we'll be lucky to stay in the Championship. Call me a sinical but I don't see any of that happening- for that reason, I just want them gone and a fresh start.
  24. Liam Feeney mk2 Very little end product at this level, is now 30 years old
