  1. Past hour
  2. I literally said finding takers for those players will be tough, as they are either rubbish or injured. In Taveres's case, it's both.
  3. I've no idea what the ref was watching. A late, blatant, aggressive, petulant kick. Clearly a red card. And then to book Ohashi. Pathetic.
  4. He is out injured for at least 8 weeks.
  5. Yeah you loved Travis. Weirdly, you always quote him in the Tronstad debate, but he is hardly Tugay, so i've absolutely no idea why. 9 goals in 250 appearances for Rovers, zero at Ipswich and Derby. 1 assist last year. Typical stats for a defensive midfielder with little to no skill or creativity. He got a sideways move to Derby, not a big club, where your other big hero is laughably hardly top of the league ripping it up like you stated he would with absolute certainty. Many of his own fanbase are already questioning the 'project' and can see through his soundbites. If i was in charge i'd be doing everything in my power to keep Tronstad. Strangely, your messiah seemed to like him also, any thoughts why?
  6. The Beach Boys, as currently set up have not been worth seeing for a long time. Mike Love managed to get the rights to the name a long time ago and has been peddling a greatest hits band since then. The real genius was Brian Wilson and the band that he took back on the road was essential viewing, right from when he recreated Pet Sounds up to redoing Surf’s Up. I saw him at Glastonbury in 2005 but then outstandingly at the Festival Hall and then the Empire in Liverpool in the same week. Either of those was as good a gig as I have ever seen. Sadly, now Brian has gone, nothing purporting to be the Beach Boys is worth seeing.
  7. Gueye out and a new striker in seems fairly obvious, if we can shift him out. I suspect we'll shift both Pickering and Ribeiro out, with the intention of bringing in 2 new defenders in. O'Riordan has been recalled so that'll be one and the emergence of Litherland might have stopped them looking at a backup RWB option. LWB is a concern as Hedges is injury prone and also leaving in the summer (as it stands), De Neve as we know, isn't good enough. Assuming we'll look to address that, should both Picks and Ribeiro leave. Centre mid is a bit of a mess, Tronstad is off in the summer, as is Forshaw. TGH and Baradji are only on loan, Montgomery is injured and Taveres is injured and rubbish. Garrett is injured and probably not up to this level but if assume he's not currently registered anyway. We need a Tronstad replacement (even if they are signed now and loaned out for the season). Realistically any of Forshaw, Garrett, Kargbo, De Neve, Taveres, Gueye and 1 of Ribeiro or Pickering, could leave to free up a squad place/wages but finding takers will be tough as they are injured or just rubbish (or both).
  8. There was no tackle. Just a simple kick that the ref obviously saw clearly. Which makes the yellow inexplicable.
  9. You couldn't buy online for today for a couple of days despite it not selling out. Complete bollocks it's no wonder this club gets endless stick it deserves every ounce.
  10. Elliott Jackson mentioned on his podcast that BTA was first choice
  11. Good result today, and great character shown to grind out a good point. Tronstad again excellent, and Cantwell was also good. The 2 real bits of quality (Alebiosu also falls into this category) who could easily slot into a top 6 chasing side and they stand out in our team. Pratt I think again was really good. Still clearly need to sign a Hyam replacement, but Miller and McLaughlin both did well today. Baradji also showed a lot of promise when he came on, surely he needs to start on Monday. Going forward I thought we was really blunt as I expected. Ohashi is a good partner for a striker who offers more of a goal threat but isnt ever going to be prolific and Henriksson clearly isnt the answer. We need 2 strikers ASAP. The threadbare squad is a real concern and needs to be sorted.
  12. Do you think Waggott individually went rogue and specifically wanted Dennis? And had total autonomy 6 months before he had totally been edged out of the club?
  13. Did we put Hedges on him after 25 mins or shift Yuki to the left to keep him occupied? Beginning of the match he was playing like Messi and was behind a lot of Boros attacking play. Then effectively disappeared…
  14. I see Nottingham Forest have made a very swift decision to rename a stand after a club legend. Meanwhile our lot…
  15. Simply no comparison, Tronstad is a far better player than Travis. I liked Lewis as a committed player and someone who came through the ranks but he was extremely limited as a player.
  16. He looks handy. The new Jason Roberts ?
  17. Today
  18. Do you actually read the threads? For Sheff Wednesday you cant.
  19. Well as a defender in a back 4 he kept a clean sheet. But no, he didn’t run riot down the wing and bend one in from 20 yards.
  20. Wonder if this guy has been considered for us ? Top scorer in Sweden, plays for the same side Henriksson played for, so could have given a bit of inside info on him. Celtic been linked recently but nothing concrete.
  21. I completely agree. 100% But I can acknowledge this isn’t true:- “I absolutely think he has cost us points vs having Toth in goal. The sudden change in goals conceded when Toth got injured tells the story.”
  22. We got shut of Ennis and Telavic and Sam half a leg Gallagher so there is hope in shifting Gueye. Depends on the agents and how much of a hit you might be willing to take.
  23. Sky Sports were the only media outlet who even mentioned BTA. Why are you obsessing about it? I never even mentioned him in the first place. I was talking about Bamford. None of us know for certain whether BTA or Bamford were anyone's first choice, and it doesnt really matter. Neither ended up here.
  24. The law needs changing so the referee giving a yellow doesn’t mean retrospective action can’t be taken. This wouldn’t change the fact we didn’t get the man advantage but it would at least mean the player is punished.
  25. I said after the Preston game, I'll bet Montgomery is thinking why does that ball keep going to Tronstad? He's very similar to Cantwell in that he nicks the ball a lot , it's a quality not many at this level have, they know what the other player is going to do before he's done it.
