  1. Past hour
  2. If you say so, but to me Davies, Cannon, Moore, Diaz, Campbell etc are nothing but mid-table championship standard but probably all picking up £50k+
  3. First 50+ Million parachute payment just kicked in for Sheff Utd
  4. Quite the opposite - that's a fantastic group of players (for this level). Wilder should be sacked this evening.
  5. They had a deduction this season, and I don’t think they’ve sorted their finances since - gambled on another promotion so expect a big regression there, especially given next season is their final parachute payment year as they only get 2. Sunderland would have spend more, given their likely sale of Bellingham.
  6. Not sure that Sheff Utd can afford to spend big, As they came down from the Prem after 1 season, they only get 2 years parachute payments, not 3, so they might have to start adjusting downwards
  7. Four? Wrexham, Birmingham, Sheffield United, Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich will all spend big. Others might give it a go too if they're confident in their squads - someone like Boro for example.
  8. Congrats to Sunderland. An ambitious managerial appointment, backed by the board and owners. Could have been us with both JDT and Eustace. Until we get rid of Venky's, however, we'll just have to repeatedly watch other teams succeed instead.
  9. I’d love to see their wage bill - so much highly paid dross there. A few troublesome years coming there way now
  10. goes to show, you can have all the possesion,be the best side and have the better players but if you don`t put the ball in the net it does`nt matter😄
  11. Absolutely hilarious that Sheff Utd bottled that! Bad news for the championship though, as there will now be 4 big spenders in the league.
  12. Sheff United have absolutely bottled this season there’s no doubt Sunderland’s promotion has similarities to ours with their terrible run going into the play offs
  13. Great scenes for Sunderland. Just a shame it's something we will never see again.
  14. Taxi for Wilder 😁😁😁
  15. Patterson has made a couple of absolute worldie saves, but yeah Sheffield United have offered nothing this half - just expected to see out the 45 minutes this half. You have to go for the kill. This is a bottle job of epic proportions.
  16. I have never noticed, he scores a few penalties..
  17. I’d rather have seen Sheffield Utd go up, I’m fed up with them destroying my enjoyment of football.
  18. Didn't get anywhere near any of Germany's pens in the Semi Final,a plank of wood would have come closer to saving one.
  19. Lol. Another example to throw in the face of people at the club who claim parachute payments are the be all and end all. A bit of ambition can do the job as well.
  20. i don`t understand the approach of wilder in the 2nd half,if you are winning by a goal then try to get another one and put the game away
  21. Wilder Wilder what's the score??
  22. Wow a terrible pass from Moore and a great finish and it’s Sunderland going up Yet if VAR wasn’t at this game it was probably game over at half time
  23. Wilder is gonna be spitting mad 😂😂😂
  24. diaz thoroughly lacking in moral fibre,i.e he`s a fanny who does`nt fancy it when the going gets rough,i thought the challenge was a good one
