  1. Past hour
  2. 2 year deal for a £1.5m player would be ridiculous even for us. But a story saying that we are "preparing" to sign a player for a pre agreed fee is a non story.
  3. Wrong thread. Again. Debates in the other one about who said what and ner ner ner ner ner. 😊👍🏻
  4. Two-year deal is pointless, just guarantees we sell him this summer or next summer. I wish we supported a club who actually tried to build a squad and not just line agent pockets. Furthermore, its clearly the usual desperation and unwillingness to sign anyone in Jan. Baradji is the easy deal since it's already agreed, but they'll try to point to it and tell the fans "look we are signing players". Good deal, but pathetic by the club.
  5. No, but it's obvious.
  6. I haven't poured anything on anything, not once have I urged anyone not to boycott, they can make their own mind up, the main thread is boycott or not? Change the title yourself if you want to dictate rather than discuss.
  7. Our old friend Kanye Runyabolloxov.
  8. Like we prepared for the January window 🤷‍♂️
  9. They'll be crazy if they don't sign Baradji to be honest even if they do flog him again in summer. Good business by the middlemen to be fair but crap for fans and team building if he's only passing through in the agents vehicle BRFC. We better enjoy him whilst we can.
  10. Your problem is you answer a perfectly straightforward question with a statement that is completely unrelated to the question. As for the second paragraph your view that they will only go when they are ready and nothing else will persuade them is not factual, it's purely a matter of opinion. Finally as I stated at the time, and not that I have to justify it, my attendance at the Millwall game was a one off due to meeting up with friends. I voted with my feet about 3 years ago but would have no problem with attending the occasional game in similar circumstances just as I have no problem with anyone still attending or refusing to boycott. It's a matter of personal choice. A boycott clearly isn't for you and that's fine. But in the circumstances I dont really know why you contribute to a thread specifically dedicated to the organisation of a boycott or to this thread where people have opened up about their dissatisfaction with the Club. All you do is pour cold water on it saying it won't work or suggest filling the ground instead which is the exact opposite of what the organisers of this ONE OFF event are trying to achieve.
  11. Roversxtra is now a poster on here aren't they? Maybe they can explain their understanding of the deal. I was under the impression that everything had effectively been agreed before the loan.
  12. You have a direct line to the Raos to know that as fact?
  13. If Baradji does sign permanently, I imagine he is planned to be Cantwell's replacement as the latter will likely be shipped out in the summer. For what it's worth, I think Baradji is a good player. Not exactly the deal that we needed to do this month though!
  14. Oh eck, you've done it now.
  15. Got a good engine apparently, but has gone off the rails recently
  16. Thats social media for you. But the general sentiment is standard Ewood discourse.
  17. Not surprised at the opinions they hold in the slightest. Bit taken aback at the level of vitriol though.
  18. Today
  19. Likely will contain the "option for a further year" clause that all contracts seem to have now, and it won't activate until the summer. So realistically, including this loan, it could be a four year deal.
  20. He was one of my favourite ever players.
  21. We had this the other day, your problem is you can't accept an answer unless it's what you want to hear. I'll clarify, not that it was in doubt from the last answer. It doesn't matter what anyone does, they will go when they're ready. Just why anyone would go to a home game a couple of weeks back, then suddenly come on here claiming that a boycott is the only way, is beyond mental. If you want to stay away, then stay away, it's your prerogative, but I won't. If you want, we can go on discussing the ridiculous contradictions from now until next Saturday, or just accept each other's decision.
  22. I’m surprised people are surprised, like I said above, that is the standard stuff you hear at Ewood over and over, even fifteen years later.
