  1. Past hour
  2. You can want the team to do well, and not attend. It doesn't make you any the less of a fan.
  3. I've been boycotting for 15 years. A line has been drawn in the sand and it's time for fans to choose what's actually important. Is it going to watch a team, any team in any division, playing in blue and white shirts every week or is it wanting an actual future for the football club they claim to support? I would suggest that if a fan actually cares about the past, present and future of this club, town and the wider Rovers community then they will back an organised action to try and remove the people from the club who are responsible for running the place into the ground over the last 15 years. Not backing these efforts tells me that you don't give a toss about any of the above things mentioned and don't have any real pride in Rovers or Blackburn. 15 years ago I was calling for a total boycott and I've stuck with that ever since. Venkys have never had a penny from me. I have had no part in subsidising their destruction of our club. I have always backed any efforts to remove them and always will. If that's taking "the moral high ground" then whatever. I call it having principals and sticking to them.
  4. You’re damn right we need to start winning. The battle against the owners shouldn’t detract from the fact that we want the team to do well. Anyone who doesn’t can’t really call themselves a fan and may as well toddle off and support someone else.
  5. Whether it's called boycotting, or not going, it would seem around 15,000 are doing it.
  6. If that's how you see it, you crack on. I knew you'd be one of the first up on that moral high ground. By the way, it isn't called boycotting if you weren't going in the first place. It's just called not going.
  7. So you're on the venky side then. Got it.
  8. What a report that was! Bare bones!
  9. I'm on my side, don't need a gang. I won't be staying away.
  10. Some names on that teamsheet. Interestingly also makes reference to 1874.
  11. Its a combined supporter coalition which consist of. BRFCS WATR BRFC Action Group Proud Rovers Disabled Supporters group. EWMC All Rovers Therovers Norwegian supporters group BRFC indian supporters Group
  12. Hi. Been under a rock for a bit. Can something link me to something that explains what this "the coalition" is?
  13. That was before an official boycott. Which side are you on? Edit: Not sure why my original post was deleted. Did it upset some snowflakes or something?
  14. Joseph will almost certainly be off before signing a pro contract. He's exactly what PL scouts will be looking for in a young striker.
  15. This regime are the absolute masters of shooting themselves in the foot. They'll play straight into The Coalition's hands.
  16. his son https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kristian-shevchenko/profil/spieler/1221607
  17. Shevchenko. I know that name. Is he a relative of the superstar?
  18. Quite a few tbf, dont know exact number but given some of their boards personal connections to the family, its a huge statement of support
  19. I’d like to be proven wrong but I can’t help thinking a change in strategy is needed. Every call to action over the last 15 years has demanded maximalist action, be it a march in the pissing rain, invading the pitch or a match boycott sometime weeks away when 15,000 are boycotting every game already. The fact is that most fans just aren’t that invested beyond the 90 mins. So, rather than a few hundred fans at best taking some action that frankly is not supported by anything like a majority of fans, why not look for something that a) demands little or no effort, and b) is something that virtually all fans can get on board with. A simple online petition that anyone can click in a couple of seconds and worded so that no-one can disagree with it. There has to be some common ground between fans like Chaddy and Glen Mullen, find that and get 30,000 signatures. Then it can’t be dismissed as a minority with an agenda. You can initiate getting the law of the land changed if you get enough people to sign the right petition.
  20. off at half time, presumably pre-planned
  21. Today
  22. I think some will get on board as this progresses when the current regime react poorly to it (which they will because it's suhail). Just got to hope that this gets the owners attention. Bare minimum we can get rid of suhail.
