  1. Past hour
  2. Just admit you got it wrong on that one. Blimey.
  3. That's what I mean, I think someone from the club was given a false name by Rudy/Pasha as they were suspected (I assume correctly) of being a regular source/leak to Jackson/various ITKs, and when Jackson posted the story, the leak was confirmed
  4. It's also a long drive to Blackburn Toulouse..... I'll get my coat...
  5. Looked more comfortable in the middle I agree better for him to have more outlets than one sided dispatch. (I heard Tim Sherwood say that term once and wanted to use it 🤣)
  6. He'll be right at home on Whalley Range
  7. It's a long drive from Toulouse to Blackburn
  8. Something really strange here, Jackson would never go out on a limb and confirm a player without verification from someone at the club. Suppose we'll know more soon enough
  9. I get what you mean, just knowledge of the role albeit on the otherside might not be as hard a transition as say playing CB and being asked to drop out on the left. Time will tell but I'd say its worth a try as he looks confident on the ball and sure of his abilities
  10. Could definitely branch it out, into a more BRFCS space, but also present our agony of the last 15 years to the world.
  11. Ask him for a link and you can see them.
  12. I feel like EJ is getting judged a bit harshly. His accuracy is better than most “ITK” types. Even if he’s got this one wrong (I guess we'll find out today?), nothing is confirmed until the contract is signed and the club makes it official. With plenty of people involved in transfers and football, it only takes a couple of trusted people to get the wrong info for it to spiral out of control - especially when news is breaking fast. Let's not think everyone involved in football is innocent. Trusted sources can be told lies from agents, managers, owners because they might have an agenda. Journalists aren't in the room where the most private conversations happen so they may need to rely on leaks and sources. If it isn't right, from what I've read, the LT has removed the article or sentence from an article. If they now believe it isn't happening then at least they're removing potential false information.
  13. I think it’s damning that he said he didn’t have a name and a few minutes later he had the exclusive. How much verification did he do? Seems to (only) have the same source as the RoverXtra account these days. Vaguely recall that he made a mistake on one of the recent deadline days by declaring Rovers’ business was done only for another signing to be announced (Forshaw I think). Comes across as very likeable on his podcast and has been treated awfully by the club though.
  14. Always seemed too good to be true that we were signing both Jorgensen and Donnum.
  15. Dønnum has a home of some sort in the north west because his wife plays for United. Its a baffling story. Maybe a Odemwingie situation haha
  16. The Drifters - I Count The Tears
  17. https://www.instagram.com/p/C7QvrHItgdi/?img_index=1&igsh=eTNvbDZrNW0wMDZx He's a flamboyant character (remember El Hadj Diouf's colourful sports cars?) and it is based on that alone believable that he would own a Lamborghini with his name on the reg.plate. Perhaps even storing it in Manchester area where his now pregnant wife lives and plays for Manchester united
  18. I doubt he thinks nobody hasn’t noticed what I think has happened (just my theory) is he has been provided dud information how or why no idea maybe to flush out a mole? Be interesting his response
  19. Glimt-fan here. In case you want my take/some context on him: A bit surprised, all of us. Most players that sign for us take a bit of time to get up to speed with the high intensity in training, and tend to get some knocks and injuries in the beginning. He's looked sharper towards the end of autumn, and was expected to be able to challenge for the starting position at right wing for us this season. His pre-season (if you can call the two weeks break the team has had since December, with training and two friendlies now in January) has been very good and he's looked more familiar with the system and style of the team. The rumored price (3,3 million) is really low for a player that would be playing in a good team in Europa League/Champions League in the 2026/2027-season. I'd say he's a versatile attacking player, but definitely at his best when he gets to run in behind the full-backs. He's decent at dribling, finding teammates in scoring positions, and finishing. He's got the potential to be a very high scoring winger, as he seems to sniff out where the ball will land in the box, and get it over the line. I'd say he fits the best in a 4-3-3 winger type role, or as a duo up-front with another attacker to combine with. As a person, he's completely no drama. Very serious, well-liked, a typical captain/vice-captain. Family oriented and someone who trains with intention. Us fans are very surprised as to why this transfer is happening right now, a week before we play Man City. Wish him and you the best of luck.
  20. I like Morishita a lot too, but as an attacking midfielder rather than a winger
  21. He'll come out and say something on his podcast when he's clear on it, he likely made a mistake like everyone does. Theres not any point putting anything out there till you are 100% on it as why risk being wrong again. For me he does a decent job in difficult circumstances. Certainly prefer his output than many of his critics (not all!) on this board.
  22. I'm not sure what the situation is with Aron Dønnum but if that was a red herring to either a) keep the Mathias Jorgensen transfer quiet or b) to flush out leaks then I will give credit to the club. Over the years we've had players taken off us at the last minute by other clubs and we've seen club leaks come back and bite us too. This shouldn't happen at Blackburn. Whether we dislike the owners/management or or not, we want the club to be run professionally and in the correct way, so if this was the case then fair play.
  23. Its funny how Elliott Jackson on a day he bigged up the time he spent putting his articles together. Literally just removed the article on Donnum and the sentence at the end of the Jorgensen article, and just hasnt said anything else as if he hopes people wont notice.
  24. Personally I like Morishita a lot and playing the RCM 352 really suits him with how he can combine down the right with different players. Was becoming very effective before his injury.
