  1. Past hour
  2. And this is exactly why Rudy gestede and Suhail pasha walk all over this club.
  3. Edit - fuck it not worth it
  4. 5. I maybe wrong, but I thought the new rules mean we must register our 25 man squad within 24 hours of window closing n cant add to it including free agents until window reopens unless we only register 24
  6. Today
  7. Like this you mean? https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-announce-new-role-31961488 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clygyyzex7yo https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/jonny-evans-appointed-head-of-loans-and-pathways-at-man-utd
  8. I’ve heard this is a fairly standard role in many clubs, and it makes sense when it comes to the academy and developing our talents. Hopefully, he’s good at what he does. But hiring someone for this kind of position isn’t exactly newsworthy. When have you ever seen headlines about us appointing someone like Michael Cribley as Head of Academy Recruitment? This feels more like the club trying to spin a story out of bringing back an old hero to a backoffice role to cover up losing your captain and our leader in defence. But this it is not us signing the attacker Rhodes, it's the coach. Again, hopefully, a good appointment, but for it to be in the news is just crazy.
  9. There is nothing to suggest that either left specifically because of him.
  10. We are. We buy for low and sell for high and anyone who wants over 10K a week will be sold and will buy players on low wages and sell all assets. no direction just plodding along and being slowly (quickly) being torn apart
  11. We are a development club nothing more and Hyam came and improved as the seasons went on so now in typical fashion someone else will benefit from his peak years for a few million quid, Not being prepared to give good centre defenders a good contract because they are in their 30's or pushing it just shows how clueless and out of touch the people running this club are. You'd still recoup that Hyam fee for a good CD aged 31+.
  12. To be fair, it's pretty much the same at every club. The king is dead, long live the king.
  13. James Edmondson has joined Macclesfield (6th tier) on loan until the end of January
  14. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. And I'm firmly in the camp that has us getting devoured on a regular basis by sides who have got their shit together in this league (which is an a1 prerequisite that Rudy and Shaiky seem to have completely overlooked).
  15. Josh Brownhill moves to Saudi. £100K a week WTF. Hope Buckley snaps him.
  16. We have a worse team than Wrexham. I think you're only reading half what I wrote. We will miss him. We're crap.
  17. Pasha is the one constant, and basically the arm of the owners, the other constant. Everything else is noise.
  18. Ah yes the Wrexham who have signed Callum Doyle Ben sheaf broadhead obrien….to name a few all who comfortably start here and many many other teams in this division so I ask what’s your point?
  19. I don't get it either, it just seems certain players become scape goats for one reason or another. It's happened to players like Brittain and Travis in the past so make of that what you will. All this stuff about Hyam being "soft" and no heart quite frankly baffles me. He's been a good signing and a good servant
  20. Very good point first sentence. Waggott and Mowbray did have the most money to spend re wages / transfer fee though and lots of the investments left for free, and spent money on loans every season. If the opposite policy, which is probably enforced due to financial issues, being employed by Rudy (as sporting director or whatever title he has, I would hope Pasha has no input into football matters properly but I bet I’d be disappointed) puts us in turmoil, because the players coming into the club can’t cut it… the rationale grows for calling Rudy a failure. re Pasha, he was around during the previous 15 years too (including SW/TM)- but being effectively chief exec, he is firmly in the firing line now, and I think that’s a good thing. He has always been a failure.
  21. “Big standard championship” seems above our level at the minute because we can’t pay the wages they deserve
  22. Yeah, you're right. That must be why he's gone to Wrexham.
  23. Sorry, that’s my bad. I’d say you’re probably correct! JE*
