Based on his cameo against Millwall and what i have seen earlier i wonder if shifting him to being a "back to goal" striker might be the answer. I agree he seems to have some playing ability but is way off being abel to play the "10" role in the championship (imo of course)

They play different positions - he can't really come on for the same players Tavares and De Neve can come on for. Tavares has one highlight in 4 months of football - a lovely interception and assist for an Ohashi goal. That's very worrying and I can't see him being here much longer. Maybe he is terrible, but I've seen enough to give him a longer leash. Granted Baradji looks significantly better already (and can play multiple positions in Midfield).

I suspect there are people who will say that a boycott is only a success if NOBODY attends at all and that is improbable if not impossible. In my opinion a boycott will be a success if the following happens: 1 - it is a noticeable reduction in attendance 2 - it makes mainstream media beyond a token "and this is Bob who is protesting against the owners - cue interview"

You don't need to go to such lengths to justify your attendance. It's not compulsory to attend, nor is it compulsory to participate in a boycott. Imo the factors you mention above are all plausible reasons for justifying your attendance in general but do not really address why you're unwilling to miss even a single match to make a point. Hope your wife has made a full recovery BTW.

There's a player in Henriksson. Unfortunately he's behind Cantwell and Morishita in that #10 role at the moment. He needs more game time.

very good post and can I respect your choices you have made and how hard this decision is. Its not easy decision for anyone. The reasons I will continue to attend and not do a boycott are these, I have been going since August 1993 and I have been STH for over 25 years, I won't allow the owners to stop supporting my team. This is my main social activity with my bro and nephew. Plus my missus went through Cancer in the last 18 months and that told us, never stop enjoying life and doing the activities you enjoy doing cos none of us know how long we got in life. The players need support and backing from the fans. Can I please say again, I fully respect anyone decision who has decided to walked away, or boycott games. That must be very hard decision to do and I respect that one, we all have connects to Rovers and we are all Blackburn Rovers supporters at the end of the day. COYB 🔵⚪

All of those responses, in the minds of the people making them, are completely rational. Telling people to ignore what they think and act based on what someone else thinks was never going to be well received. It’s fundamentally bad strategy to call for something you can’t deliver, as not delivering it makes the Coalition look unrepresentative and ineffective.

You failed to understand that we can only register 25 players and we are now at 25 players will O'Riordan being recalled and will be available from the 1st of January. So do we not register Carter or Wharton then? meaning we can't play them. What your plan RF99 Yes we need to get rid of players to bring players in and register them by end of the window. Looking at the back 3, we would move to Miller to right wing back position now, so that's leave us with these options McLoughlin, Pratt, Wharton, Carter and O'Riordan. Plus Litherland and Atcheson. So 1 centre back signing is more than tbh, any more is just wasting our money even if Carter would move on. I feel we actually play better with Pratt in the back then Ribeiro in there. Going forward, Rovers have decisions to make over the future off Gueye, Ribeiro, Pickering, TGH, De Neve and Tyjon before this window ends.

We're now going from having NO quality centre backs to having a load of average/injury prone/rookie ones. Such a Rovers thing to do, all we needed was one quality leader in there like for example a Dom Hyam or a Batth to help the rest. Be interesting to see where O'Riordon fits into all that now.
