Barrow was a decent loan for Duru last year. Prior to his injury, he was a regular starter for them. Obviously different manager now, but Powell is a similar standard, if not a little better so will hopefully work out well for him too

I hope it is a good move for the lad and gets him ready for a first team push next season. I have been disappointed with how few of the youngs lads we've been able to get out onto EFL loans to over the last few years.

I went to a league cup game years ago. Rochdale v Wimbledon. Fashanu was playing against an old school centre half called John Bramhall. I ended up just watching the two of them battle it out. It was brutal. Knees and elbows going in all the time. I think the ref thought - “ If that’s what they want to do they can get on with it. “ I had them even on my scorecard at the end of the “fight”.
