EwoodGlory Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Did Kemsley have anything to do with the Kevin Prince Boateng deal at Spuds? He hasn't looked to good so far, but I could see Newcastle moving for him.

Dunnfc Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 They are already ashamed they support Burleh duh Both are delighted at seeing Andy Cole play. Yes they love messiah Coyle too.
philipl Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Turned to that Rochester Rhino piece and thought- at last Dan Williams proves us cynics wrong. Then I read: Although Williams said no deal is “imminent,” and declined to put a dollar figure on a potential deal, he said his potential investment would be significant. Unlike Rovers, Rhinos are going out of business.
Exiledfan Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Poor dingles. All that hope of a busy transfer window and not a permanent deal in sight.
USRoverME Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Actually, for those (ie most) of you that don't follow the American lower leagues.... the Rhinos would be a decent club for someone to turn around. they have one of the better followings in the USL, with an average attendance of near 10,000 a game, compared to a league average of 4,000. They are a USL 1 side not USL 2 as I think was mentioned. And they are routinely one of the better sides (6 league finals appearances since 1999 at least 1 league regular season title). They have a half finished stadium that could easily be finished to add value. They've routinely pulled off scalps of the MLS clubs in the US equivalent of the FA cup over recent seasons, in fact they are the only non-MLS side to have won it since the MLS was created (winning in 1999). Heck, their set up was respected well enough that their name had been bandied about as a potential future MLS expansion location, though they were known to be behind the likes of San Jose, Seattle, Philly, and a few others.
BRFCGrez Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Poor dingles. All that hope of a busy transfer window and not a permanent deal in sight. Bingo!
Atomicrover Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Poor dingles. All that hope of a busy transfer window and not a permanent deal in sight. Bingo! Took the words right out of my mouth ( though I would probably have said Snap!)
LeftWinger Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Poor dingles. All that hope of a busy transfer window and not a permanent deal in sight. Which is exactly the same boat we are in!
alexanders Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Which is exactly the same boat we are in! We are in the premiership, aming for a spot for play in europe next year, arent we ?
Ewood and I Would Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 They've got Andy Cole? That signing made me think, is there any other footballer that has played for both teams in more local derbies that "Andrew Cole"? (Man U & Citeh, Barcodes & Sunderland, Rovers & Dingles). I've asked Martin Tyler but I doubt he'll answer it....
Dunnfc Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Nicko is the any more news on Ooijer signing a years extension to his contract?
nicko Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Another trialist comes and goes... http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News...s-gets-his-man/
G Somerset Rover Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Another trialist comes and goes... http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News...s-gets-his-man/ We should get a match going between our first team and the apparent squad of trialists that we've had come and go this January!
modes98 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 They've got Andy Cole? The Cole deal is only a Loan. Mind you i'm sure even dingles will be glad to be rid come the end of the season.

How many apparent trialists have we had now.
Ewood and I Would Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Does Arsenal V Fulham count also ??? No, well I said in my mail to Tyler, "recognised" rivalries and I would say Arsenal's rival is Spurs.
Exiled_Rover Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Interesting... http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...3092893,00.html Part of the reason why our Academy is so derided by the fans. I felt he was a good one, and clearly others do too.
Saf Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 so nicko, do you think thats it for transfers until the summer as it looks like it according to the chairman
unleaded Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Yes everyone knows what a talent Garner was apart from Bobby Downes and his fellow chums! They are about to sell another big star from the Academy Mamadia Keita to Hamburg.............He spent a week on trial with the 1st team last week and this is a guy who cannot even get near the Blackburn reserves!! Wake up Mr Williams and sort the Academy out.............. PS Neal Trotman has Joined PNE..............Like someone said Rovers sat on there Hands!
nicko Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Bolton back in to sign Gary Cahill. Birmingham messing about on terms. Major moves around Tottenham...at the game...pass on later.
BRFCGrez Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 They've already spent £17m - a big spending spree there? McDingles got nothing as expected. There fans are concerned big time now they'll only get two has beens.
