rossyste Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 In the absence of an update on the manager... The Aaron Ramsey move is far from done. Man U have agreed a deal that suits Cardiff, but there is another club in - and the kid wants to talk to both to find out which one is best for his career. Good luck to the lad, his head is screwed on...and he is some player. arsenal....??
novella Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 arsenal....?? yeah bbc have confirmed that its arsenal talking to him as well.
Sandiway Blue Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I'd rather have him than alladyce or jewell as reported by ssn , the guy has won a trophy & got to a euro final! Souness has a better domestic record than Mclown over a similar period of time, would you have Souness back? Thought not...
roversmum Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Ryan stays loyal to Rovers Apologies - correct link here
b12_simon Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Stuff a banner, this needs a fly past. "Beggar off Fat Sam" should do it. Staying on the dole 4 ever - Love Rovers
Backroom DE. Posted June 3, 2008 Backroom Posted June 3, 2008 Nelsen... I can't talk for other players about what they might want to do in the future, but I certainly know on the last day of the season we were all happy." Nice to know they were happy to get thumped by Birmingham Regardless, I think the players we can expect to go are Bentley and Santa. The others will probably stay.
modes98 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Ancelotti moving fast on betfair nicko,is something happening? Better not be i have no money on him.
Sandiway Blue Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Better not be i have no money on him. Me neither....
Tom 1 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 So Nicko, Arsenal and United the clubs in for Ramsey then right?
Eddie Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Not sure this is going to be a good couple days for my wallet...
Sandiway Blue Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Not sure this is going to be a good couple days for my wallet... Having said that though if Nicko gives us the magic words,Hughes is still available at 5/1..
thenodrog Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I'd rather have him than alladyce or jewell as reported by ssn , the guy has won a trophy & got to a euro final! How mant posts in support of Maclaren is that AJW? And more to the point WHY? I'd wager most of the Reebok faithful would have allardyce back in a flash, but that the number of Boro fans that would want Maclaren back you could count on one hand. What is your agenda with Maclaren?
novella Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 theres still a good chance hughes will go to chelsea. exactly the same thing happened yesterday with the odds but with hughes.
nicko Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 There is a fair bit to report, but because I think someone has been lifting stuff from here and pumping it out to other areas I will save it for later. Sorry to have to do this, but there have been key developments over the last few hours. I can't slit my throat on this professionally. All I would say to those who have been putting bets on is to sit where you are - the news I can pass on about 9 tonight will NOT influence this. In fact, some of the events may make more sense in a few hours. OK? [Well, frankly, it has to be].
they_think_its_all_rover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Ryan stays loyal to Rovers Apologies - correct link here The bit he says about Hughes is great at getting players to "go that bit further" ...what about Gary Johnson from Bristol City? he did that with them for a full season!
EwoodGlory Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 OK? Of course, people must understand you have a job to do. I shall be on at 9:00pm on the dot
den Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 SSN: City agree compo with rovers for Hughes. They have given him until Wednesday to agree to join.
they_think_its_all_rover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Nicko, I see what you mentioned to me other day about Fraizer Campbell was in a few of the papers today (well, with a £5 million price tag as well)... but the local rag seems to think no contacts between the two clubs have been made; http://www.sporthull.co.uk/football/hull_c...cle.php?ID=7006 ...are they just being like the LET and trying to look like they know something others don't?
Mozzer Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 imagine if chelsea appointed another manager mark hughes spoke to man city and didnt like what he heard and we kept mark hughes am i close nicko lol
Grabbi Graeme Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 How can Chelsea talk to Ancelotti's advisors if AC Milan have already said Ancelotti isn't leaving.
