In the absence of an update on the manager...

The Aaron Ramsey move is far from done. Man U have agreed a deal that suits Cardiff, but there is another club in - and the kid wants to talk to both to find out which one is best for his career.

Good luck to the lad, his head is screwed on...and he is some player.

Souness has a better domestic record than Mclown over a similar period of time,would you have Souness back?

How mant posts in support of Maclaren is that AJW? And more to the point WHY? I'd wager most of the Reebok faithful would have allardyce back in a flash, but that the number of Boro fans that would want Maclaren back you could count on one hand. What is your agenda with Maclaren?

There is a fair bit to report, but because I think someone has been lifting stuff from here and pumping it out to other areas I will save it for later.

All I would say to those who have been putting bets on is to sit where you are - the news I can pass on about 9 tonight will NOT influence this.

Nicko, I see what you mentioned to me other day about Fraizer Campbell was in a few of the papers today (well, with a £5 million price tag as well)...

but the local rag seems to think no contacts between the two clubs have been made;
