Scott generally doesn't slag Nicko - he sometimes disagrees with him. There is a difference.

I'm far from a "Nickoteener" as i don't take his words as gospel. I just think he provides an interesting insight that we wouldn't get anywhere else and i know sometimes he can be wrong and sometimes he is right.

I just don't see why those who have an issue with Nicko and only ever post in his thread to provoke a reaction can't just not not bother reading his thread. If you don't like Nicko or his contribution to this site then don't view his thread.

First of all, I'm not moaning, I was just saying that nicko is one of the main reasons I come onto these boards, otherwise I use the official boards. This thread is called 'nickos thread', so I should be able to write anything I want on nicko I want.

I've said more than once that this board has gone down hill since Nickomania took over. Scoops are great; they won't always be right, but I can wait for them to come out in the papers 1 day later. I'm all for expanding the member pool, but are we better off with folk who use it solely to impress their mates at school? Roll on the season and the transfer window shutting.

I've seen talk in some of the papers of Liverpool asking £6-7 million for him, a price which i feel is way too expensive.

Just wondering if you have heard what price he really is available for? Are Liverpool asking £6-7 million for him?

Very well put. I must stress though I don't think it's Nicko's fault, I'm sure there's a reason he chose to post on here instead of the comparatively childish Official one (he also voluntarily started posting BRFC news only to try and put some order in his thread)...but once word got wrong everyone started flocking here.

With Bentley now gone it would seem Pennant may well be favourite.
